Because of Art's break-infused ‘Lost in the Sun’ featuring Ruth Royall receives two club-ready remixes from the hotly tipped Simon Doty.

For the ‘Day Mix’ Canada's Simon Doty swaps dreamy breaks for groovy deep house yet maintains the track's euphoric feel. He uses, ravey piano lines, warm synths, and tactful loops of Ruth Royall's vocal to build up to an impactful drop which unleashes the track's powerful bassline. The ‘Night Mix’ is stripped back and weighty with a fat, club-ready bassline married with the track’s memorable house pads.

‘Lost in the Sun’ was originally released at the very start of 2021 and has welcomed support from all corners of the Dance community, from the likes of Danny Howard on BBC Radio to former England rugby star turned DJ/producer James Haskell, and more recently Dosem and Will Clarke. The Simon Doty remix is tailored made for summer and ready for the Ibiza season.

The Anjunadeep Explorations EP series returns, and on its 23rd instalment, features an unprecedented eight tracks. The various artist series, a showcase of fresh and emerging talent from the global electronic music scene, has previously paved the way for many much-loved Anjunadeep mainstays over the years including Marsh, Simon Doty, Luttrell and CRi.

The compilation kicks off with ‘Horizon’, a spellbinding collaboration between German producer Chris Luno and Turkish artist CEAUS, and features the hypnotic vocals of Paris-based vocalist Keilimei. The release follows Chris Luno’s recent debut on Lane 8's label This Never Happened. Chris has previously been supported by Diplo, Gordon City and Claptone, collaborated with Tube & Berger, and racked up over 35 million views on his Youtube channel since starting his widely popular Youtube mix series in 2020. CEAUS meanwhile, at the age of just 18, also has an impressive CV with releases on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records and Colorized to his name, as well as garnering support from reputable radio stations such as SiriusXM.

Canada-based producer Sinca is welcomed back to the compilation series following her label debut for Anjunadeep Explorations 19 with ‘Mancora’, which racked up over 1.3M streams on Spotify alone and won support from label boss James Grant in his sets. Her new track ‘Villeray’ pays homage to a special Montréal neighbourhood, and creates an alluring groove using delayed plucks and syncopated percussion.

LEGATO is Birmingham-based producer who debuted on Anjunadeep recently with his track ‘Petals’, a collaboration with Jody Wisternoff & James Grant that featured on flagship label compilation ‘Anjunadeep 14’ earlier this year. He’s previously released on labels such as All Day I Dream and Nightcolours, and been supported by the likes of Disclosure and Pete Tong. His new offering ‘I’ll Never Forget You’ comprises warm chords and relaxed percussion to create a balearic-influenced, evocative deep house track.

Berliner JAMIIE steps up for her label debut with her track ‘Tongue Of Flame’. JAMIIE has previously released on Watergate, Studio Kreuzberg and Cacao Records. ‘Tongue Of Flame’ is no exception to the slick melodic house and techno that has earned her support from and from the likes of Solomun, Just Her and BBC Radio 1's Jeremiah Asiamah.

Mexican duo Zombies In Miami have previously released on Berlin labels Watergate, Correspondent and Permanent Vacation, and collaborated with artists such as Biesmans. ‘Remember The Days’ is a peak-time ready dance track, combining the duo’s influences from house, Balearic, trance and Italo.

Igor Garanin returns the compilation series with ‘Clean Slate’, a collaboration with Australian producer Hiski, having previously featured on Anjunadeep Explorations 15. He recently featured on this year’s label Compilation ‘Anjunadeep 14’ with his remix of ‘Surge’ from legendary trance trio Above & Beyond.

The compilation rounds off with producer Joshua Moreno who lands on the label from his native Trinidad & Tobago with his track ‘Last Kind Deed’, and German live act, and This Never Happened alumnus oddchapters and his track ‘Fjord’.

Chris Luno, Elliot Chapman - So Right

Babysteps is my reminder that great things take time. Some tracks take me just one afternoon and feel complete as they are, while others take months of exploration and refinement. Babysteps is a perfect example of the latter.

The first idea for this track was born during a four-hour studio session I booked in Berlin. From there, it became a journey that unfolded in countless places and situations. I worked on it right after quitting my day job, during long scenic train rides through Germany, and in quiet moments—sometimes a few hours in the morning, sometimes late into the evening. Months passed, but it felt like it's coming together, piece by piece.

What stood out to me was how many times I revisited this project—all versions I created, pushed it just a tiny step forward. Slowly but surely, the track fell into place, evolving step by step. And that’s what Babysteps is all about.

I produced this tune in a tiny house in Bali, right next to the off-grid beach of Nyang Nyang.
It was in the middle of the rainy season, that day was filled with dark clouds, heavy rains and roaring thunder. I sat inside and tried to captivate the feelings that were coming up in this moment.
The scent of rain and incense sticks, the powerful sounds of nature—the crash of thunder, the crack of lightning, all happening while I was experimenting with synths on my laptop. I instantly got into a flow state and decided to name this track Peaky, inspired by the idea of these peak human experiences. Intense, electrifying, like a storm on a tropical island.

For Night Jet, I teamed up with Hawaiian singer-songwriter Keilimei. She's singing about following someone into the night and embracing their darker side. Most people wouldn’t guess it, but she’s actually singing about Darth Vader! When she laid down these vocals, I instantly fell in love! 
A few days after finishing the track, I saw a plane in the sky — right at the zenith above me. The sunset rays bounced off the plane beautifully, like it was glowing. A jet, ready to fly through the night. A Nightjet. I quickly reached for my phone to capture the moment, but just when I snapped the shot, my phone died. I went home, hoping that the picture had somehow been saved. I guess the cover is the proof that it did!

One day I woke up and had the words "ye ye ye ye ye ye yes baby" stuck in my head. I kept on saying it until I noticed it could be a cool pre-drop hook. And so it became a track.

I’ve played this tune all over the world and it’s the track that is bringing the best reactions on the dance floor from all tracks that I play. Even when people hear it for the first time. As my wife would put it: it just has that yes baby energy - a life affirming, uplifting house tune. An expression of positive attitude.

All Day Long marks the debut release of Chris Luno and Louis Vi on Magnifik Music. The track showcases the signature blend of emotional depth and club energy-melodic, uplifting, yet made for the dancefloor. What started as a plan to create a dark, driving banger quickly evolved in the studio. Fueled by excitement for an upcoming underground gig in Cape Town, the mood was set-until Louis Vi spontaneously recorded the line: I am. dreaming. all day long. That one moment shifted everything. Euphoric chords and atmospheric synths took over, transforming the track into something both powerful and dreamy. All Day Long is the sound of two artists staying true to their instincts: raw, emotive, and built to move people.

For the second VA EP, Nora En Pure introduces a diverse three-track compilation to Purified Records. Opening the EP on an uplifting note, Chris Luno’s ’The Ride’ infuses electro synths and a captivating vocal to create an addictive cut that will leave listeners wanting more. Discognition devises an atmospheric soundscape with ‘Almost There’ by combining an airy vocal, delicate piano chords and an uplifting bassline, resulting in a slice of sonic bliss. Le Roy’s ’Singularity’ closes the compilation with a bang. Moving into a darker realm, Le Roy fuses a hard-hitting bassline with soaring vocals, resulting in a moody creation that has already made a solid impact in Nora En Pure’s sets.
