Symphony For The Soul

2018 was a time of transition in our lives and bringthebeats took a back seat as a result. However the turn of the calendar offers new beginnings, fresh ideas and newfound inspiration. Who knows where all this will lead us, but optimism fills the air at the moment and we have the perfect debut exclusive to represent our positive attitude. 

Chris MacPhee is a bringthebeats loyalist, good friend and connoisseur of finely curated house music. Most of Chris’ time is spent surveying the skies for Sunwing Airlines, but he manages to be grounded long enough to compile and compose regular promo mixes that consistently reserve top billing in our rotation. 

We’ve worked on obtaining this sensationally smooth and emotional exclusive for some time now.  It’s only fitting we’ve finally scored it as we embark on yet another New Year and another opportunity for A Fresh Start.

Former record store owner and DJ @ after-hour clubs and raves in Canada from the late '90s and early 2000s...  He eventually quit everything to pursue a job as a airline pilot.  It was an immense sacrifice but now years later he has a great career and a rekindled passion for electronic music. This ain’t no joke. The entire planet needs to stay isolated until the scientists tell us it’s okay to go back to our normal lives. Not the politicians or “business leaders,” the real medical professionals are the ones who decide whether it’s safe to resume regular activity or not. Really, how difficult is this anyway? 

If you’re reading this post, you probably have at least one comfort of home. The Internet provides so much of what our psyches need. Access to speak to our extended families and friends face to face, our favourite movies and television shows, books, articles, shopping, games, jokes and of course our beloved music. A beautiful array of live music is continually posted by the hour and for that we thank the musicians immensely. It’s been been incredibly soothing for us. 

Once again, we’re grateful to share another exclusive compilation to help enhance our global isolation. This silky smooth mix from #TOLocALe Chris MacPhee is perfect for those moments right after the kids go to bed or you’ve closed the laptop after a long day.
