Tenampa Recordings has put out its fair share of stunning records in their time, with a host of the scene’s most established and clued-in names such as Rodriguez Jr, Dave Seaman, Chaim, Patrice Baumel, to name a few. Tenampa Essentials Volume 1, however, marks a big step, and all things considered it’s an EP that’s hard not to fawn over.
Featuring a host of cherry-picked emerging artists, it features numerous different sounds and styles, but crucially it’s all packaged together with the sort of quality we’d expect from the label. 

Yoni Yarchi & Tai Tager’s ‘Sirocco’ brings us the heart of the jungle in its own dizzying way, Nicolas Alisferi goes all melancholic on ‘Across the Universe’, while Marcos in Dub shows he’s no slouch with the brilliant Hookedub. Mattia Pompeo’s ‘Silencieux’ is a really crafty little number that kicks off the second half of the EP, before Danito & Athina impress alongside Someone Outside on the brilliant strands that comprise ‘Sparks’. Last - but certainly not least -we have Dark Soul Project’s ‘Night Pleasure’, a track that ups the ante thanks to its old -school capabilities vocal-wise. 

If you’re already a fan of Tenampa you’re sure to love this addition to their discography. And if this is the first time you’ve encountered them, you’re sure to love it too.

Over the past 10 years he's maintained an enviable strike rate, for every uncompromising chart smash such as 'Touch me', 'Porto Hustle', 'Sex-Girl'', and 'Don’t give it up', he's kept the underground sated with a slew of Beatport Top 15 singles. As a remixer, his skills have been called in by the likes of Afrojack and Thomas Gold and been spread on the dancefloor by top players like Tiesto, Avicii, Erick Morillo or Roger Sanchez.
As a cutting-edge DJ, Chris Montana gets the pick of the world's dancefloors, taking his gospel of tough, funk-injected house to the best venues on planet Earth. He got more stamps in his passport than the UN-general secretary: Whether in New York, Ibiza, Brasil, Dubai, at the Formula1 in Bahrain or in Capetown, Montreal, Sydney or India, his infectious charm and endearing charisma carries through to his DJ sets, with a guaranteed 'showman' aspect that shines through with every performance. His 10 year residency at El Divino Ibiza has provided the perfect platform, with many clubbers returning season after season to hear him bring one of the party island's premier clubs to its very knees. In 2013, Chris’ belief and desire to inject freshness into a stale electronic music scene, inspired him to write down his very own story and sight of EDM-Music as a mixture of autobiograhpy, travel stories and a manual for dj-necomers. This concept became a reality with the release of „Miles Per Minute – Ein DJ als Star im Mikrokosmos Club“ in Germany in October ’13.
