Sister Mary & Sister Josephine

This track was part of a competition I ran to raise the profile of a service I offer to write songs which are personally written for special occasions. 
The winner Taylor from New York asked for the song to be written about her and her husband Jonathan who is from Dublin and the song is about their lovely story of they overcame living long distance apart to stay together.

Meant To Be

The theme of the song is about hope and the metaphor of the candle represents how at times it's something that can be quite delicate and when it's like that, how important it is to remember it's still there. I got the inspiration from a speech I heard a few years ago and this is the song I wrote from that. 
The song was recorded at Mattison Studios in London and the song builds slowly with a nice cello section building up to bringing in Bass and Drum sections at the end and some nice vocal harmonies.

Candle in you still Burns

Chris Mossop is a Scottish singer/songwriter who has been compared to the likes of Damien Rice, Ben Howard and Paolo Nutini. He has one of those distinct voices that fully engages the audience and his tone is heartfelt and surprisingly disarming.

He is hot off the back of three tours in Europe in 2018 and was recently a guest on BBC London Radio. Not only that he was a finalist at the ‘Billy Kelly’ Songwriters award in Glasgow. He’s played at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues such as ‘The Borderline’, ‘Glasgow Royal Concert hall’’ and the ‘The Edinburgh Fringe festival’.
