there’s a river in Zagreb where I had a rather mystical experience once late at night, or maybe it was life phrasing one of those simple questions that can be hard to truly parse. Ça va?

this piece started with a field recording from the same spot where this photo was taken over the summer at a farm near Johnsonville, NY. I wanted to capture the full peace, tranquility, and breadth of the view and how it felt standing there, so the composition evolved from there into "The End of the Valley"
