Rabbits Eat Lettuce once again gave me the privilege of opening up the gorgeous Koo Koo Stage on the Saturday morning of the festival. I am very conscious of just how lucky we are to be able to dance in the bush to sub bass again; A heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible and came along for a shuffle x

Pinerolo is a restaurant in Oslo. I was commissioned by the owners to compile and mix three mixtapes. Their directives were rather vague, lending me an opportunity to pick from any genre, not care too much about how commercial the tracks were and just create an eclectic but cohesive compilation that would contribute to the relaxed vibe at Pinerolo. This is what I did.

Nickodemus and the Turntables on the Hudson crew return for Volume 10 of the long running compilation series, showcasing the eclecticism of the infamous, now worldwide party. Entitled “Uptown Downtown”, this compilation CD paints a picture of the dancefloor from the beginning to the end of the night at TOTH’s NYC Summer 2015 Uptown home (La Marina in Washington Heights) and their year round downtown home, above the clouds at Le Bain on top of the Standard Hotel in Manhattan. Deeper, electronic house vibes are represented by the likes of Bonobo, Claptone and Alex Barck, while the Latin and Afrobeat sound is of course heavily represented through tunes from Captain Planet,  Quantic, Alsarah & The Nubatones, Novalima, Chancha Via Circuito, Jose Marquez and more.
