There is always a sign of hope or a positive aspect in an otherwise negative situation. In the past few months, when we were all apart, music brought us together like nothing else would in these circumstances. We decided to show our appreciation and continue this unity through our new podcast series called "The Bright Side".

Immediately struck by the feelings we experienced from @oddchapters' other podcasts and his productions, we wanted to continue the journey on the Bright Side. Playing since the 1997, @oddchapters take us back to some of our fondest memories and tunes us straight into the right mood.

This is the recording from my set at Love Camp during Earth Frequency Festival 2022. I was deeply moved when asked to play again this year and in particular to play between two of the best Dj's in the Australian doof scene Liam Butterz and Christopher Brooks and at peak time. These two legends are the nicest guys you could ever come across, thanks again for having me and hosting such an amazing space for all of us on Saturday night. Massive shout out to Jade and Leo for there vision and contribution, the shenanigans were next level fun this year :)

Under The Moon - 2019 Rainbow Serpent Monday Closing Set @ CPL

I've been to 4 consecutive burns now, 2016 was my first. I've been blessed to play a number of sound camps and art cars, but I've always thought of DISTRIKT as one of the great whites, with a reputation that I’ve known about since before I made my first pilgrimage to the Playa. The hardworking and meticulous DISTRIKT team always provide a mystical experience for all of us dusty musically inclined burners,  with a carefully curated lineup and grade A Funkworks sound. Like many DJs, I hoped to one day be given the opportunity to perform on this stage, and when I was asked to open the stage on Saturday morning at this year's Burn I was truly honored and stoked! I view the opener time slot as a challenging role that comes with a lot of responsibility and one that must be handled appropriately. I often have more opportunities for late-night sets so it was really exciting to step out of my usual zone and get to flex my chops with a daytime set! I drew on my memory of DISTRIKT over the years and felt inspired to bring to the table a different kind of opening set. I wanted to do something very minimal start to finish, but with a careful progression throughout my tale, covering different areas and emotions. Thank you DISTRIKT for giving me such a fun and unique opportunity, an experience I won't forget!

Crescendoll - DISTRIKT Sound - Burning Man 2019

I approached this set with a clear vision for the dancefloor. I could see a hot summer afternoon, the suns rays casting light onto the dust as it rises from the earth, tribe stomping as one collective primal heartbeat, in the moment, together. Warriors of the dance floor surrendering to ancient rhythms.

This set I created for my Earth Frequency application 2021. Its been a very tough and challenging year for all of us and I for one cannot wait to get back to join our the creative collective of sisters and brothers at one of the best festivals in the world!
