This is the vibe me and MC/producer Jai Nitai Lotus connect on this release titled "Speed of Thought". Just the right summer vibe, a tripped out soulful blend featuring JNL and his spaced out cadence + words for thought. 

Though we both have been building much over the years through  Montreal's highly creative hip-hop and beat scene, this is our first official collaboration.

It was put together surrounded by much nerdy music talk and the use of the ACP88 compressor for the first time (Thanks to the homie Jo!)

Episode 6 - “Somewhere”
The BBRC Boys have plans to hit up a westside pool hall for an evening of billiards and "competitive pickup art". A series of surprises, hijinks, and unfortunate mishaps lead them all to different locales where they'll spend the night waiting, for one another. Bronze, the brute of the crew, stands outs like a sore thumb at the country club; Roshin tries his luck juggling twin sisters at the wedding he accidentally crashes, and Arowbe wonders, "Whose basement is this?" In the end—lucky dogs—they all get the girl.

Chris Quotes and Andrew Cameron grew up on opposite sides of Dufferin Park in Toronto's west end. Quotes left the neighbourhood in 2002 to study in Montreal, where he would cultivate a lasting musical bond with producer Think Twice and release the Earshot! chart-topping EP, Supernova, in 2009. Cameron went on to co-found the indie pop band Tiny Danza, which won the 2011 Toronto Indie Week and signed to Wax Records; he later collaborated with acclaimed producers M-Phazes, Rich Kidd, and Jimmy Harry. Cameron and Quotes returned to their roots just south of Dufferin Station years later to form Dufferin '83 and present their collaborative debut EP, Loud Dreams, featuring the singles, "We Are", "Right Here", and "For the Love".
