CHRIS REEL bio

CHRIS REEL, (Gerhard Laubser) began his career at the Corner House in Cape Town in 1998. He moved onto studying sound engineering at City Varsity and Cape Audio College where he passed with distinction. Believing that a positive outlook means everything, he was also presented with the “best attitude award” in his year.  
He has been part of the club-scene since 1998, playing at spots all around Cape Town at numerous Festivals, private functions, corporate functions and rocking events. CHIRS REEL holds a residency where it involves playing open format style, blended with trance, electro, deep house. His sets ranges from 3 to 5 hours, so you can expect a journey and energy controlled mixing to suit the mood for the occasion.
