LUVNY COLLECTIVE VINYL:
Originally released Back in 2012, the Red Apples 45 collective LUV NY, featuring AG & OC of DITC, Roc Marciano, Kurious, Dave Dar, Kool Keith, and producer Ray West, set the Bronx-based record label in a new direction.

The collaborative album received a placement at number 7 in the the Village Voice's Ten Best NYC Rap Albums of 2012 and caught a spot on HipHop Dx's weekly "Slept-On But Dope Hip Hop Songs" at the end of that year with the Ray West & AG track "These Rappers Under The Hex".

In 2013, the LUV NY concept returned for a limited-edition cassette-only EP titled The Snake Tape. This featured some of the original cast and new appearances from Lord Tariq & L Fudge .

Now in 2015, courtesy of Red Apples 45 & Fat Beats distribution, LUV NY finally gets a double vinyl treatment, combining both releases as the LUV NY Collective. This includes new artwork and an unreleased song featuring AG & Lord Tariq. This will be the first of several major releases for the Red Apples 45 camp this year.

After dropping a serious slapper with “Cash 4 Catastrophe,” King Magnetic delivers a smooth and contemplative new single, “I’ll Show You,” featuring Wu-Tang’s very own Cappadonna, and soulful vocalist, Dink.

The second single off King Mag’s upcoming 'Everything Happens 4 A Reason' further demonstrates the Allentown, PA’s skill set, which continues to grow with every track he drops. That much is evident on “I’ll Show You,” a head-nodding cut driven by its thoughtful meditations on police brutality and other issues plaguing our society. 

Cap bats cleanup on the track and provides his own bits of wisdom, noting poignantly that he has given “everybody knowledge to boost their self-esteem” for more than two decades now. And his appearance is fitting on multiple levels, particularly the fact that he’ll be touring with both King Mag and Recognize Ali in the coming month in promotion for 'Everything Happens 4 A Reason.' 

As for the melodic instrumental, it was supplied by acclaimed French producer Astronote, who has worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Blu, Talib Kweli, Little Simz, and more. And on “I’ll Show You,” Astro proves once again why he’s on the underground’s best kept secrets as he provides a soulful, jazzy backdrop for King Mag, Cap, and Dink.
