Known mainly as the god of the seas, Poseidon was also the deity for earthquakes, storms and even said to have created the first-ever horse. Quick-tempered, hot-blooded, and violent tendencies, Poseidon could be known as the cause and the protector of natural disasters. Trident in hand, riding a wave and obliterating anything that tried to stand in his way. Some referred to him as a “deep sounding earth-shaker” And that’s just how this EP from Greek adonis “TIME94” is formulated. Huge crashing synths, bubbling basslines and choppy drum patterns bring together a cold and stormy sounding single with a plethora of unique sonic sounds. And with two remixes from neo brothers in arms “Gastah” and “Eone”, this EP will dominate across the seas from all four corners of the world. Out now on the honorable Roadwrx label.

TIME94 - Your Love (Gastah Remix)

This track was inspired by Guy Debord’s Dérive theory in which one passes through ambient urban spaces. Musically, the production consists of vocal samples trained on the Holly+ model combined with CSV’s signature atmospherics and a UK drill beat.

After a visit to Montreal, I was inspired by the famous Habitat 67 apartment complex. The contrast between its brutalist architecture and nature inspired the themes of this song. Recorded live at the Ableton Loop Sessions during @mutek_montreal festival. 🌱

Our first release coming back comes from Greek producer, TIME94. Resident with our good friends at Crystal Orca, TIME94 blends lush soundscapes with a dirty raw, grimey sounding synths. A perfect fit to our label. 

The first track "Maybe You" perfectly illustrates a taste of what is to come in this project, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

TIME94 - Maybe You (Forthcoming "Nethertoxin EP" 11/09/20)

“Neo-2000” evokes the feel of a rain soaked cyberpunk city amongst the haze of neon lights. The track fits into the recent neo-grime genre but builds upon that sound with UK Garage elements and a colossal reese bass. The nostalgic UKG vibe is evident within the sound selections, heavily sampled from the Music 2000 game for PlayStation.
