Originally from the Northwest of Ireland, Colm began his DJ career in 1998, playing across clubs in his home region and honing his distinctive sound. In 2005, he made the move to New York City, where he now resides and continues to evolve as an artist.

Over the years, Colm has contributed guest mixes to respected platforms such as Bekool, Ibiza Global Radio, Canopy Sounds, Deeper Sounds, ROFD, and Deep House Islamabad, among others. His sets are known for weaving together lush textures and deep, emotive rhythms that span Deep House, Organic House, and Progressive genres.

Colm is also the host of Dirty Grooves, a monthly show on Saturo Sounds Radio, where he curates an hour of cutting-edge music, reflecting both his signature style and the latest in the underground electronic scene.

This set is more than just a mix 〰️— it’s a reflection of moments collected over time. A deep ⚫️ journey through Progressive House and Melodic Techno, 🎚️ built with tracks that carry weight — both sonically and emotionally. 🖤

Opening with Matter’s “Wombat Forest”, the tone is set with cinematic tension and textured grooves. It's the kind of opener that hints at something expansive. ⛓️As we move into Nohan’s “Road to You” (Eli Nissan Remix), the mood shifts — warm, melancholic, and undeniably nostalgic. 🤍 🙌🏽Eli Nissan’s remix has been a standout since its release, often surfacing in unforgettable sets from the late 2010s. It brings back memories of sunset moments and after-hours dancefloors — a track that aged beautifully. 🖤

Hans Gerd’s “Sea Life” and Mike Rish’s “Shokl” hold down the midsection with moody, groove-driven energy. Then comes “Menq” (Nick Warren & Nicolas Rada Remix) — a deeply emotional rework of an already powerful original by Hraach & Armen Miran. This one has history; it’s the kind of track that’s been passed around for years among selectors who understand subtlety and emotion. Hearing it again here feels like meeting an old friend. 🎚️

〰️ Further in, tracks like Foglight’s “Over & Out” and Ruben Karapetyan’s “State of Progression” stretch the narrative, before the mix moves into more introspective territory. The tenth edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist MUUI back for his second showcase. The Berlin based producer is coming off his second project for us entitled 'Seminal'. Released in February, the four track EP featured another diverse selection of music, earning support from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo,  Guy J, Sasha, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Agents of Time, Third Son, Stephan Bodzin, Gardens of God and many more. 

For the tenth edition of our podcast we've chosen a live show of MUUI's from a recent gig at S.A.S.H in Sydney, Australia. Comprised of all his own originals, showcased are six brand new, unheard tracks along with live / alternate versions of his Bengal remix, 'Placid', 'Hide Seek', 'Clouds', 'Touch', 'Taet' and ending  in gorgeous fashion with 'Vrijeme'.
