Jansons has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene right now.  As one half of production duo LoveHrtz (alongside Richy Ahmed) and with a strong run of releases on Classic Music Company, Hot Creations, Four Thirty Two, Skint Records and 8bit, Jansons continues to win support the world over from industry peers and fans alike.

2020 saw the release of Jansons & Ben Rau’s ‘The Player’ single for Knee Deep In Sound, and the pair continue to collaborate here, with Jansons ‘Kiss Kiss’ single landing on Rau’s own META label. 

‘Kiss Kiss’, in its original form, pairs up chunky drums and choppy female vox, as Jansons injects his trademark ‘feelgood’ vibes into the groove with an industrious rhythm and funky tone.  On the ‘Filter Mix’, the crisp swinging beats are filtered elements evoke shades of the finest Chicago/French house tracks from over the years, and a great alternate version to compliment the original mix.

Accompanying track ‘Sometimes’ forages a deeper path; a hypnotic groove lays the foundation for the vocal dialogue to ride over a percussive workout, which dips and rises in all the right places.  A brooding bassline and filtered riff provide the pulsing rhythm that lets the vocal soar!

Making his first appearance on the label, Argy lays down a three-part heavyweight production for Crosstown Rebels this October. The Greek producer effortlessly showcases his unique style and ability to create music that is sure to create heat on the dance floor.

Title track Worthless opens up the EP with a bouncy groove and sensual, breathy male vocal. Next, La Vida introduces a more percussive-led beat, creating an industrial soundscape. Get Ready closes the EP with its darkly hypnotic beat, lending itself to a more tribal aesthetic. 

The word ‘diverse’ is most definitely one that can be used to describe Argy. Having been in the game for more than a decade, he’s released music on Poker Flat, Cocoon, Objektivity, Desolat and Cuttin’ Headz. He’s worked alongside a range of key figures in the industry including Kerri Chandler and Manuel Göttsching. Argy has proved his prowess as a DJ holding down residencies at Amnesia, Space, Destino and Pacha as well as regular appearances at Berlin’s Panorama Bar.
