RCR is a third and final sub label affiliated with Paulloraine Rhythm Cult brand: it is a vinyl only arm that completes the puzzle and kicks off with a fine outing from youANDme. The focus for this label is pure and simple; the dance floor. As such each release will be cut to wax and will have a compelling sense of groove and drive.

youANDme is a duo that has long been associated with the Berlin scene and quality house and techno. They have released on the likes of Cocoon and Desolat amongst others, and run their own Rotary Cocktail label, plus Polymorph and a few other mysterious outlets. Picking up props from big name players and at home remixing the likes of Seth Troxler and Lawrence, this pair has nearly a decade in the game behind them, and it shows in their accomplished sounds.

Opener ‘PPPPP (Diva Mix)’ is a truly compelling house track with an effortlessly groovy feel, disco fried stabs and smooth wood block hits that glide the thing along. It is party starting yet subtle, big yet clever and has some firing vocal samples to really set the track alight.

The just as essential Drunken Diva Mix is a rework that has playful drums dropping in and out, bigger stabs and more cut up energy thanks to lots of careful tweaks. It is freewheeling and charming and cannot fail to make you move. Lastly, an instrumental version is supplied for purely physical dance floor deployment, and is sure to be devastating.

As far as ‘floor focussed music goes, there can be few more tasteful and tasty tracks for DJs and dancers to enjoy than those on this great first release from Rhythm Cult’s new vinyl only arm.

In November we had the pleasure to release "Lunation" the second studio album of our favorite Berliner duo Luna City Express. The album includes 16 amazing tracks riding from house/techno to downbeat and funk with a lot of good vocal and musical featuring. We thought to ask some of the label's and LCE fav producer to put their touch on some selected tracks to release the remixes.
For the Part 1 of this exciting project we have on board Dario D'Attis touching "Victims of the Funk" and Breyn on Smokin Bull.

At the forefront of the dance music landscape, DJ/Production duo and label heads, Catz ‘n Dogz are well and truly in the driver’s seat of their musical journey. Starting out as close friends, the pair have risen to critical acclaim, leaving a lasting impression on the electronic music community with their honest productions and label releases; spreading the love far and wide. With friendship as one of the main precursors to their success, they present a warming and emotional album channeling the intricacies of ‘Friendship’ and relationships.
Escaping to a wooden cabin in the Spanish countryside village, Cercedilla, which also shares the name of the opening album track, Greg and Voitek came together to create an album that re-wrote the Catz ‘n Dogz history book. Known for their diverse style and ability to craft varying pace and rhythm, the duo sought out consistency with their ‘Friendship’ LP to make an album in the truest sense; a long player to be listened to as one body of work. The 4x4 beat underpinning all music across the project, ‘Friendship’ encourages listeners to be at one with themselves and enjoy their life; to go with the flow of highs and lows that come with it.
As a testament to the bond that has allowed Catz ‘n Dogz to build and establish themselves, they invite a band of close friends and like-minded peers to collaborate on the album. Vocalist and guitarist James Yuill on the Spanish inspired ‘There’, fellow polish native Rosalie. on ‘Mind’ and deep vocals of ZENSOFLY and Maxville on the funky ‘Wave’. Travelling into new territories of cross-genre and lingual collaboration, leading Polish rapper, Taco Hemingway lays down lyrics in English on Yi Fang. Along with longtime friend Kiddy Smile and fellow creative mind Rouge Mary, teaming up on 90’s house inspired love song ‘One Plus You’. Appearances also come from WhoMadeWho on the cool and breezy ‘Never Go Down’, before later delving deeper into the ethereal voice of Jono McCleery in ‘Would You Believe’ and the eerie folk-esque vocals Eglė Sirvydytė on second-last track ‘Water’.
Sharing the same name as their countryside escape, introductory interlude ‘Cercedilla’, eases the listener in with warm notes and raw samples of running water taken from the cottage that became their home. ‘New Love’ celebrates new possibilities and challenges that come throughout life; narrated with rumbling break-beat and euphoric synth lines. Big kicks and funky melodies in ‘This Feels Real’, build anticipation for what is set to follow in the acidic elements of ‘Questions’; denoting the rollercoaster of emotion one can experience throughout the relationships we make. 
Hugging the listener with emotional piano chords, ‘Moments Turn To Hours’ encourages the idea of being at peace with oneself, acknowledging the long and hard times and allowing them to pass on by. Looking back to the Berlin days of Catz ‘n Dogz, ‘Last Song For Berlin’ summarises the decade they spent there. Celebrating the people and friendships they made and channeling the soulful side to a city so lauded for its darkness in the Techno scene. Picking up with ‘Hedonic Treadmill’ drum and bass elements, layered with emotive keys and uplifting soulful samples, see out the album with a sense of euphoria and hope for the future. 
Left and right, yin and yang, Catz ‘n Dogz. Greg and Voitek are proof that opposites do attract. Now living in different cities and leading alternative lives, their friendship blooms stronger than ever, culminating in their truest and most heartfelt body of work to date – ‘Friendship’.

The uber-talented Romanian DJ and producer Mihai Popovicu is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music today and finally returns to Poker Flat Recordings once again. 

Continuing his rich vein of form into 2019, the Understand EP drops soon after his collaboration with James Dexter, and once again shows why he's well worth getting excited about. 

First up on this release is 'Inside Me', which underlines Popoviciu's perfect understanding of how to create rich and thick grooves from a minimum of sources. The track bumps and rolls, helped along by a deep, evolving bass lead that will undoubtedly get rinsed all over the summer. 

Similarly, 'Understand' keeps the vibe - a heavy tech house hitter with some classic feeling stabs and nice vocal snippets.
