(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction

Variation on a theme from „Runaway/Crash“ by Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow (soundtrack for A. Garland's 2022 movie „Men“). 

At one moment, I had become obsessed with the main motif from that track, playing it over and over again. One Monday evening (I guess it was in November), I added a background track, and finished it on Tuesday morning. Took me some time to record it.

(Sharing a Pot with the) Green Man

I connected with @blackmarketbrains when he responded to my open collab, Social Fabric. I really liked his take on that one so asked if he wanted to do another collaboration. He offered up this open collab he had going as well as a couple other ideas. Working on this one, my remix came together right away. I am digging his post-nuke post-apocalypse aesthetic.

David is responsible for the beat and many of the synth and sound effect elements (we discovered he and I use a lot of the same hardware-- microfreak + volca drum!) ... my additions include the kind of light epiano keys in the background and the main melody ultra filtered sounding lead lines. Thanks for checking this one out!

No More Than This (HoboCop & Cosmic Keanu)

unlike the first version (recorded in 2020) the introduction is missing with that fantastic Pad-style sound which was actually a sample I recorded of a jute piece of furniture, the same sample used for the song precisely called: Juta.
here the piano part, unlike the first version which was more focused on the search for harmonic contrasts, is actually performed and I had to give up many notes (which for technical reasons I am not able to perform) and I don't even know if it is really possible for someone... I have been practicing it for some time and I still do it almost every day in performance and for some time I have wanted a new recording made properly with my hands on the keyboard.
