This tune was the first tune I composed on a Commodore 64 SID chip for 23 years. It was Pål Syvertsen who inspired me to get started again so this tune is 100% dedicated to him.

This recording loops a bit, so its not that long in SID version. I made the tune so it could loop forever (as I usually do). Thanks to Lemming for recording it on real hifi-hardware. Much appriciated!

work in progress... the lead is not 100% as I want it, but it will do for now... next step is to decide if I keep it this low speed or its going to kick off with a beat at the end.. or perhaps sooner...

Goodbye My Friend (work in progress)

I thought the idea of the Gubdata oldskool party happening in Sweden was rather fun and wanted to participate with something as they allowed for remote entries in all compos. So I decided to make something oldskool to fit the vibes of it. As I am really from the time of oldskool tunes I wanted to give it a try and do one with the sounds I really enjoy myself. 

Hope you like it too. I have some parts of the solo/leads that I wish I had made differently, but hey - it was made in a short time, so I am still rather satisfied with the outcome based on the amount of time spend.

I am particularly happy about the bass myself.

Energy

A tune I wrote because it kept popping into my mind. I knew it was going to sound oldskool, so I decided to embrace it with modulated percussions etc. 

it turned out better than expected. I hope you like it.

At least PAL/OFFENCE liked it so much that he wanted it for his new "one hour project" and I think it fits perfectly.

Legacy Of Time

A tune I originally composed as a test of my skills to see if I could do a march kinda rytme and I ended up thinking of these 8-bit pirates enjoying some kegs of Grog ... kinda cartoonish style, like the funny pirates from Monkey Island. 

The intro part of the tune was a THX kinda effect I was playing around with to sort of surprice the audience as this was planned as a demo-compo tune, but it never really fitted into the demopart, so I decided to make Connected instead... and that was a good decision I think too.

8-Bit Seas Of Love

A small custom-designed intro tune for the cracking group called 'Laxity' (not to confuse with the SID composer Laxity).

They needed a happy intro tune with 64 frames between each snare hit, because of an effect they wanted to match the rytme. So I tried to build something long enough not to be boring, something small enough to fit an intro (aka looping un-noticable) and still hitting that snare right on timing. 

Hope you like it. It's not one of my most advanced tunes, but it was rather fun to create with a special purpose. I like a good challenge with a goal.

A worktune (originally meant for Pseudocode) that I had completely forgotten all about. Might just steal that lead and put it to better use somewhere else!
