I did this mix tape in November 2008 while DJing as my more harder edged alias 'Crowhead' and was sold exclusively by Piccadilly Records in Manchester. It was a love letter to my first love of Rave and was the music that blew my mind as a 17 year old lad in clubs  like Bowlers, Wigan Pier, Maximes, Shelly's Club Kinetic and many more.

Image is my original crappy artwork design done using a mouse, photocopier and blue highlighter pen. A 100 were sold like this then a further 100 with special artwork sleeve designed by Randy Marsh who has contributed to many of the Red Laser release designs including the EP3 and the Wet Play 12's. I cant find a copy with the Marsh design but they are out there.

More 80's Italo gems - :D - This mixtape is the resuslt of some extensive digging through the records in my studio while in an 80's Italo mood. My record collection is in no order and takes me days of constant digging to get through. This usually results in finding records that i forgot i ever had! RE-DISCOVERY i think its called. Anyway while i had the pile infront of me i thought i better get them recorded. This is what happened for the next hour after. Be warned. I do not organise and practice perfect mixes using a computer. I simply get the records i want recording and hit record on the CD burner. For me it captures a moment in time. There may be the odd push and drag of a record as i battle my way through the mix trying to keep everything as smooth as possible but a lot of the time im mixing live bands which is diffcult. One take drama in effect!
