This journey gets straight to the point with the title alone. Just as approaching prey covered by the darkness of night, the snarling synth slowly lurks closer while the loop of hypnotic tones and pulsing drums keep the mark focused and unwitting of its true motive. When it finally shows its teeth, freedom is long gone. Panther has sunk in and forgets any intention of surrender. Wave the white flag. It's an exquisite feeling to be eaten alive.

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

SCI+TEC are proud to play a fresh role in story of this modern-day classic. ‘Destroy This Track’, one of

the acid legend DJ Pierre’s many influential tracks, dropped in 2006 under Pierre’s DJP guise and

dented the house and techno spectrum with its signature wild pitch feels and iconic vocal hat tip to

Daft Punk.

Just over 10 years later, Toronto icon Carlo Lio brings Pierre’s stern sentiment back into the future

with a lolloping rhythmic momentum that the refuses to quit until the last order to work it, smash it

and kill it ring out.

The message is amplified by Carlo’s equally disarming ‘Like This’. Rolling with an industrial strength

undulating groove and humanised rhythmic loop; suspense and tension is strung out throughout the

experience thanks to precision use of textures and tones. As with Carlo’s previous SCI+TEC outings,

this is real heads-down gear.

Two sides of the techno coin flipped consummately, Carlo’s delivered some special here. Tried and

tested under Dubfire’s dubplate duress, the message is clear: Handle with caution.

Christian Cambas is back and celebrates his return with an original track on one of his favorite labels.&nbsp; 
Keeping things totally subliminal with a haunting melody and an apocryphal vocal snippet, we are kept locked in via the pulsating bass and commanding synths that seem to have been programmed in some kind of dismal future.&nbsp; 

A remix from label boss T78 was essential to this release, and the original has been completely flipped on its head, with a big surprise halfway through, as only he knows how. Another brother-in-arms from the other side of the pond is up next, and of course we are talking about Durtysoxxx who based his version on the synth progressions and provided the heads-down vibe of the package.&nbsp; 
UK duo Drumsauw seal the deal with a spacious mix, letting their rendition breathe effortlessly while keeping the production crystal clear.

In order to get a rough idea on what Jannowitz records' newest EP is all about just take a look at the title. “Breakout EP” already gives away everything you need to know. Because this EP is a real breakout EP - having three brand new artists for the label: Gayle San, GRAU and Christian Craken. 

Christian Craken runs the PHOBIA label in Bulgaria, and kindly took some of his precious time to work with “Palmetto”. It will take moment until you realize that “Palmetto” is really underneath his remix but once the catchy melody starts you will get what happened. And isn't that what a good remix is all about? Creating something new from tearing apart something already existing.

Premiere: Gayle San "Palmetto" (Christian Craken Remix) - Jannowitz Records

The seventh volume of Drumcode’s annual A-Sides compilation hits with no less than 10 debuts for the label, with Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, B.Traits and Scuba’s SCB project, among the collection of topline artists to release their maiden productions on the imprint. 

Over two decades into its lifespan, Drumcode keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. This reputation for progression was further fueled this summer with its inaugural festival at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam, featuring a long list of heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens and Ida Engberg, among others. 

As ever, the A-Sides compilation provides a timely opportunity to showcase the full range of its sonic repertoire, with Adam Beyer scrupulously selecting 22 unreleased tracks that have taken prime position in his sets over recent months. 

Outstanding all-round talent ANNA kicks off the compilation with ‘Portable Paradise’, a pulsating cut that sets the tone for the top-shelf club cuts to follow. Also entering the debut field with their first ever Drumcode dalliances are B.Traits and Charlotte de Witte. The esteemed Canadian selector offers up ‘I Feel The Music’, a euphonic track that’s been sought after since spring, and the Belgian ballista unlocks a thick-edged club bomb in ‘Remember.’

Leaders of Drumcode’s new brigade, exciting Brazilian Wehbba and British techno alchemist Boxia set out to impress. Wehbba’s straight-talking ‘Just’ hits with an immediate sense of urgency before neck-snap claps strike with force, and Boxia’s ‘Final Call’ elicits physical engagement with mellifluous vocals and soaring pads. 

Continuously looking to bolster the profiles of emerging talent, Berlin-based producers Weska and Juliet Fox are brought into the fold with equally engaging razor-sharp tracks that are primed to do lasting damage. 

Other notable highlights include an exhilarating workout from Reset Robot - the most released artist on Beyer’s imprint Truesoul – as he lands on Drumcode for the first time. And tastemaker’s favourite Jel Ford makes a welcome return as he ushers in techno rhythms with bustling breaks in ‘Nightshade.’

Elsewhere, support from label mainstays comes in from Bart Skils, who offers a work of consummate skill in ‘West Of The Moon.’ Alan Fitzpatrick, who’s been heavily featured across the A-Side series, joins forces with Scuba as he operates as his uncompromising alias SCB. The result is a propulsive floor-gripper that testifies to their masterful deftness as co-producers. Formidable duos Dense & Pika and Pig&Dan also contribute with powerful compositions.

Melange is a one-off collaboration with Rachel Palmer, now available on Drumcode via the "A Sides" compilation. It was written solely for the annual Drumcode Total party at Berghain. After hearing it, Adam very eagerly wanted to release it, and of course we agreed! Enjoy.

Tokyo based Drunken Kong has steadily developed a ferocious fanbase through his dance floor igniting tunes. Encompassing a straightforward club-rocking sensibility, with red hot production techniques and standout DJ sets around the globe, he has quickly cemented his stamp on the international circuit. 

Choosing mostly unheard and unreleased weapons for this latest compilation on Sian's Octopus Recordings, his selection and mixing vibe shows off the section perfectly, swinging from heavy and relentless to deep and mysterious tracks, procured from the labels stalwart artists and some new fast-rising creators.

Following the label's ethic to push boundaries within Techno, 1605 presents yet another new addition to the roster. Greek producer Christian Cambas makes his 1605 debut with "Fireball", and combined with the rumbling bass and pulsing stabs, a feel-good crossover vibe is all over this peaktime cut. On the flip, we have no other than man of the moment, Filthy Rich, who delivers a tougher than tough rendition of the original, with one foot planted firmly in House. A complete rework, the remix is a percussive affair with tons of vicious character.
