It seems as if 15 years have quickly flown by since we first opened our doors at the base of the famous Oberbaumbrücke joining Berlin’s Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain districts. With countless long nights into majestic mornings and open airs in our beloved city to showcases spanning the globe, Watergate has grown to include a booking agency and a record label pushing the sounds of our mainstay artists and some of the most revered acts in the scene. To celebrate our journey over the last decade and a half we have put together a special anniversary release of 25 new, exclusive and formerly unreleased tracks to be released as a 2x CD set with our traditional Watergate artwork as well as a special collector's edition box set as a 5x vinyl, 2x CD package including a commemorative art print, two free entries to the club itself and the very special photo book ‘Sound Travels’ by Linus Dessecker which features photos and interviews of artists that played at Watergate when they arrived or left Berlin, all wrapped up in a sleek minimalistic package entitled “WATERGATE XV”.

Encompassing music from club residents like Matthias Meyer, Jimi Jules, Marco Resmann, La Fleur, Tiefschwarz, Floyd Lavine, Lee Jones, Adana Twins, Sebo K, Hyenah and Cinthie and new comers Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Gumz and Ryan Davis to friends and cohorts who have close ties to the club such as Butch, Henrik Schwarz, Ellen Allien, Alex Niggemann, Catz n’ Dogz, Steve Bug, Osunlade, Solomun, Rodriguez Jr., Oliver Koletzki, Anja Schneider, Mathias Kaden and Kollektiv Turmstrasse, WATERGATE XV comprises of a plethora of sounds you have come to anticipate from our home along the Spree. From deep and euphoric cuts to lush organics tracks to heavier, peak time compositions, this compilation finds a moment that encapsulates every aspect of the sounds of Watergate. 

We think this body of music perfectly captures our essence, whether it’s under our famous LED’s, on the waterfloor watching the sun rise or at any of our showcases and open airs the world over. We hope it can spark a memory in your mind to a moment we shared over the last 15 years. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis re-link for another superb outing on Watergate.

If you know, you know. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis make sweet music together, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once made babes. Tunes that melt you into the floor and roll dancefloors from Tulum to Tblisi. Their debut collaboration ‚Hope‘ was a dawning highlight of 2017 and Beatport Deep House no.1, while ‚Love Letters from Sicily‘, was a lustrous late summer anthem, reinforcing their knack for the sublime.

Their latest opus ‚Crying Juno / Cafuné‘ begins where its predecessors left off, taking life after Matthias and Ryan exchanged ideas back and forth over a period of months before finally settling in the former’s Holzmarkt studio in Berlin to finish giving the tracks their form. Together they’ve crafted a masterful yin and yang between joy and melancholy. ‚Crying Juno‘ is the buoyant leader, propelled by an insistent groove and ‘80s synths, both bittersweet and undeniably uplifting. ‚Cafuné‘ continues with the orchestral themes that gave us ‚Hope‘, as sweeping strings and keys swell over a bed of delicate percussion, gradually building into a delicious groove.

The 200th release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Weird Sounding Dude to the label. For this monumental release the producer from Bangalore, India created two new original productions. He recently released music on labels such as Kindisch, Stripped Recordings, Balkan Connection and Modern Agenda.

Timeless Moment is proud to welcome back the Colombian rising stars Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat , but this time they bring a full EP with three beautiful original music to delight us. 
The lead single ‘Canis’ is a deep and introspective vocal single that will touch deep in the emotions of its listeners. The Colombians shows all their production talent with an amazing mixture of lush melodies, airy plucks and evolving atmospheres. 
On the remix duties for ‘Canis’ we have label boss Morttagua. He brings a peak time dance floor reconstruction with his well-known trademark bass line and untouchable sound design.  
‘Nao’ , the second original piece in this EP, is a Timeless Moment headquarter favorite here due to its rare uniqueness. A true progressive house pearl with an intergalactic vibe to it, ‘Nao’ shines with its impeccable grooves and hypnotic synths. 
And closing this timeless EP is the dark and haunting “BlackHole” with its dark synths, rolling arpeggios and obscure harmonies.

Ignacio Corazza - Reverse [Future Avenue]

Christian Len has become one of the musical ambassadors of the Balearic sound of the last decade. Born and raised in Barcelona, Len began his DJ career playing at venues such as BeCool, Apolo or Razzmatazz and directing the radio stations of Sonar and Primavera Sound. In 2010 he moved to Ibiza in an unexpected script twist and there he discovered the most genuine and unknown face of the White Island making a step forward on the decks from then on.  Always involved in the island stations he was Ibiza Sonica coordinator and Openlab music director. As a DJ he has been a resident in iconic places such as Kumharas, Hostal La Torre, Blue Marlin or the legendary Pikes Hotel, home to his own party, Homies, since 2015. He has just published “Balearic: Oral History of Club Culture in Ibiza” a book that tells the story of the "magical" island (one of the best music books of 2020 according to Pitchfork).  And that Balearic state of mind is always present in his sets projecting the musical and cultural idiosyncrasy of Ibiza.
