Last year I met Sissi Rada. She was singing in Greek and playing the harp when I first listened to her. 
I asked her to record something with me as I wanted to use her voice for my music. We sat down, I played the harmonies on my Prophet 5 and she would jam over it. Her first take is the take you're listening to. Back then I was in my bedroom studio. We had noises from the street, roommates the next door, but the take captured the magic and the spontaneous moment of just doing music. I didn't want to record it again. 

Her lyrics are about the devastating political and financial situation in Greece and I tried - as much as I could do - to reflect that with my music.

Debütalbum von Sascha Funkes neuem Projekt Saschienne, das der Berliner Produzent gemeinsam mit seiner Frau, der Sängerin und Multiinstrumentalistin Julienne Dessagne, ins Leben gerufen hat. Sascha Funke ist einer der großen Techno-Autoren Deutschlands und das Genie hinter den Bestseller-Alben "Bravo" und "Mango". Saschienne ist kein kurzweiliges Band-Experiment, sondern eine feste Partnerschaft mit Horizont. Bereits die ersten Tracks bezeugen die vollständig ausformulierte Meisterschaft auf der Klaviatur der Tanz-Emotionen, stets oszillierend und irgendwo zwischen gezupfter Introspektion und kompromissloser Hymne. Seine erste Single "Campus" auf Kompakt von 1999, verschaffte dem damaligen Newcomer direkt einen glücklichen Start, hechtete er doch im Gefolge der ersten Releases von Meilenstein zu Meilenstein. Christian Prommer is an american producer, DJ, drummer and musician who has produced and composed genre defining and award winning dance music for two decades. As founding member of Fauna Flash, Trüby Trio and VoomVoom, as producer and co-writer for Kruder and Dorfmeister, DJ Hell (their effort "Teufelswerk" was “Echo” nominated), Kim Sanders (they won the “Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik”), The Dining Rooms, Incognito and with his own projects Prommer and Barck and most notably Christian Prommers Drumlesson - his own Band, with which he traveled between the worlds of Jazz and Techno festivals.
As a musician and collaborator he has worked with Carl Craig, Tony Allen, Bugge Wesseltoft, Joe Sample, Til Brönner, Mousse T, Wolfgang Haffner, Incognito, Klaus Doldinger and many more.
With his band, solo shows and DJ sets he travels the world non stop from big jazz festivals to the darkest after hour club.
