Self-disclosed as an artist ‘between house and techno’, Lausanne-based newcomer Jeremy Vieira aka Several Definitions rolls out his first release on SVT, 'No Artificial'.

The EP opens up with ‘Wind and Waves’, a dark tech-house build up with uplifting synths accented by avian trills that give the track an eerie jungle mood, tailored for the late night freaks. Boy Next Door is enlisted to add more depth and pace, turning the track into an even more profound nocturnal exploration, underlined by swirling analog synths.

The 7-minute long ‘Intro,’ of which we exclusively premiere today, speaks for itself, as it gradually introduces the artist’s core sound elements that can be recognized shape shifting throughout the EP. Several Definitions hauled KlangKuenstler for the remix, giving the track a complete club anthem makeover with an infusion of wobbly synths and extra groove. ‘No Artificial Comments’ showcases yet again the artist’s knack for propulsion, as metronomic throbs develop a hypnotic synth-laden, last-track-of-the-festival, eyes-to-the-sky kind of feeling.

Los Angeles 1999 D- Hastie and Simon “Woolfy” James meet in a run down bar in downtown LA ..a pint? aayy a pint will do fine .. you make music , I make music , let’s make music .. The two embarked on what’s become an eight year adventure.

The third and (for now) final chapter of the Woolfy vs Projections project has begun. "Stations" completes the trilogy, which started with the two previous albums: "The Astral Projections Of Starlight" from 2008 and "The Return Of Love" in 2012. The concept of the albums by the California-based band are all loosely based on the adventures of the lost astronaut Captain Starlight, who is the hero in a Zazu track, a notorious Balearic rock classic which also sets the bench mark for the sound of Woolfy vs Projections: a deep Balearic twilight vibe combined with a classic west coast sound, dubbed disco, beard rock and a heavy funk bounce.

The Adana Twins gear up for a busy summer ahead. After starting the year with the hypnotic 'Jupiter' on Watergate Records, the Hamburg duo prep a season of deep techno grooves with a stunning remix of Nic Fanciulli's 'After Time', lifted from his intrinsic and varied debut album My Heart.

Entrusting rework duties to the duo, they take Nic's original and ramp up the pace with strong shifts in BPM and a downward pitch lacing their dark rework. 

With After Time's balearic-tinged, swinging drums, the Twins take the backbone of the track and layer it with slabs of subs bass and minor-chord synths, weighting Nic's sunset classic firmly to the ground with its growling, sinister presence.

Their late night makeover sports a deep techno groove, bound by hypnotic, oscillating melodies, but always retains the swing and punch of the bonafide club favourite.

An infatuating groove gets your blood rushing right from the start. Sick grooves are a trait Andreas is loved and celebrated for, and again he does not disappoint. A drum set filled to the brim with fresh sounds meet the crisp and bouncy bassline. Together they form a bond rarely heard anywhere else, it makes it impossible to stand still. Driving the whole thing forward is the succulent vocal and quirky yet juicy synths, all coming together in perfect fulfillment.

We can only hope to hear this on a dance floor as soon as possible, because that is where this one of a kind tune belongs.

Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by birth, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.
Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 500th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2022, they are already fast approaching the 600th episode.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. During the pandemic, Christian had a weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.
