Italian artist Luca Agnelli needs little introduction. The Drumcode and Soma Records producer, also the man behind Etruria Beat records, is a techno phenonmenon with a legion of loyal supporters in tow.  The most recent honour bestowed upon him was the opportunity to remix legenedary electronic artist Moby on Adam Beyer's Drumcode and he is all set to follow that up with a fresh remix of KNTRL(Beachcoma) on Andre Crom's OFF Recordings, dropping November 21st. We're delighted to welcome Luca on board this week for the 74th edition of the When We Dip mix series. Strap yourself in, it's time for lift off.

After multiple years having gig’s on Thursday and Fridays in Belgium’s house & techno underground scene and playing thousands of hours all over, moving along wicked eastern European countries & Russian federation resorts FRED HUSH decided to work on his production skills. Since, his music productions are released multiple times on Green Velvet’s Relief Records, Marco Bailey’s Materia, Emmanuel Top his Fokalm label, Sonar Kollektiv & the infamous Rushhour Records from Amsterdam.

He is releasing nowadays on the mythic record label Cherry Moon. A Belgian cult nightlife techno symbol.

Mark Broom, R.O.D., Green Velvet, Oliver Deutschmann did remixes on his music.

With his productions and dj skills FRED HUSH proves he can play very large and with much variation from acid to techno with a twist of disco and ad’s his proper color of music.

Seven times now he played for Tomorrowland at Josh Wink his stage, Solomun’s  Diynamic area, Sven Vath his vinyl Cocoon stage and their own Tomorrowland Atmosphere stage.

FRED HUSH Co - Hosted the Magazine Club stage & King Kong stage @ Ostend Beach Festival. He was a guest artist @ Babylon Festival Australia, OZORA Hungary, Elrow @ Extrema outdoor, Solidays Paris, Nature One Germany & Aquasella Asturias.

He was also present @ Griessmuehle and Ipse Berlin, Rex Paris, Corvin Club Budapest, Space and Pacha Ibiza, and many other similar places.

He holds his proper clubs nights @ Magazine Club France & King Kong Club Belgium. Recently he performs on the brand new nights @ Belgium’s longest running techno club Lagoa.

Frequently FRED HUSH is performing at big nights in Belgium’s number one nightclub called Kompass in Ghent.

For quite a few years now, Victor Ruiz has been known for his high quality productions, which has made him a highly sought after artist in the Techno scene. His “unofficial edits” of classic songs, are a huge part of Victor’s performances, with the most popular being “Breathe” by The Prodigy, “Children” from Robert Miles, “Everything Counts” from Depeche Mode (in collaboration with Thomas Schumacher), and his latest edit of “Teardrop” from Massive Attack. 

Apart from remixing the biggest names in the electronic music, such as MOBY, Stephan Bodzin, and Dubfire, he has reached the #1 position on the Beatport charts, with his own signature peak time melodic sound.

As a result of this success, the Brazilian born Berlin-based producer has been touring all around the world, from big festivals to intimate clubs, and judging by his performances and productions, he injects pure love with everything he does.

Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over a decade with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by brith, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of  ANNA, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Kaiserdisco, Enrico Sangiuliano, Nick Curly and more. The label has been the No.2 top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and it has just celebrated its 400th release.

Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 400th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2021, they are already fast approaching the 500th episode.
Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Cocoon, Plus8/Minus Bedrock, Mobilee and Tronic. His latest EP on Drumcode, was the best selling release on the label of 2020. During the pandemic, Christian started his weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people, and has become one of the main regular techno streams on the net. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

He has released three landmark solo albums; “Omakase” in 2013 which secured worldwide praise with a superb selection of tracks that showcased his versatility as a producer. His follow up was with “Stranger Than Paradise” in 2016 he released the 11 track musical journey “Input-Output”. The album was followed by an extensive album tour in over 20 countries and two extensive remix packages released early 2017 with artists including Pig&Dan, Julian Jeweil and legend Laurent Garnier all on rework duty. Christian has also recently remix UK Hip Hop superstar STORMZY  delivering an electro mix which had support on Uk's Radio 1 National show.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to have Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, to Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.
