House music at it’s best not only has the ability to move the body, but heal the spirit and soul as well. Our next release ticks all the boxes, with vocal healing coming courtesy of LA by way of New York singer extraordinaire Mijan. The end result is a gorgeous re-interpretation of Agape International Choir Owner & Director Rickie Byars Beckwith’s Gospel staple “From Within.” Mijan’s brilliant delivery coupled with the songs poignant message, comes at a time in our culture where we all could benefit from a lil’ therapeutic relief from the daily onslaught of breaking news! 

“From Within” is fully loaded with true to heart lyrics, uplifting vocals & masterful production provided by House music veterans Groove Junkies and Reelsoul who collaborated on both mixes. Groove Junkies & Reelsoul Mo Hump Mix and Reelsoul & Groove Junkies Sunday Mornin’ Mix deliver that ‘sweet soulful sound’ and tight groove that the fellas are known for.  This is also the first time in 17 years that Mijan and GJs Evan Landes have collaborated since their 2000 hit “Music Is Life.”

ABOUT MIJAN:
“From Within” marks Mijan’s return to Dance Music after a self-imposed hiatus. The Powerhouse Diva burst onto the scene in the late 90’s with Garage Classics “The Way I’m Feelin” on Smack (Major Healey, DJ Omar), her massive #1 hit “Alright” on Slip N’ Slide (95 North) and “Save Your Soul” on  95 North Records. She scored a string of successful releases through the early 2000’s w/ “Music is Life” on Champion (Groove Junkies) and “Do You Love Me” on Jellybean (JT Vanelli Project). Throughout this period Mijan graced many stages and performed extensively in Europe at many of the top venues in Italy, Germany, Austria & Switzerland. She also opened up for legendary Martha Wash.

First up is Paris Cesvette who is coming off her brilliant #1 debut LP "Celestial" and #1 single taken from the album titled "Sacred" feat. Josh Milan. She teams up once again w/ her production partner Luis LooweeR Rivera on a stunning remix which showcases their incredible musicianship & studio prowess. The talented duo deliver a soulful gem that delivers on all fronts!!

Rounding out the remix package is a soulful peak hour gem from Westbank (Chi-town's Munk Julious & Sean Ali from Deep Soul Syndicate & Brad Foote) w/ a lil' help from Groove Junkies' Evan Landes. Skillfully produced by Westbank and deftly mixed and arranged by GJs. The remix gives a wink to todays Deep House heroes while maintaining it's own unique 'hybrid' House identity. This is set to light up the most discernible of dancefloors!

House music veterans Evan Landes from Groove Junkies & Will ‘Reelsoul’ Rodriquez are no strangers to the game & have enjoyed global success for many years both individually and collectively. This one has been in my “stash” for the longest time as Jill Scott is one of my absolute faves. A true powerful voice along with lyrical grace throughout all of her work. It was only fitting I would try to make something for the dance floor. DJ Quik has been one of my faves for a long time as well and his original track “Get At Me” was one that always stuck with me. It turned out to be a perfect match for a rework along with some extra “sauce”. I hope you guys enjoy this. 
Times are weird, but all we can do is play this loud, smile and dance.
