My husband boated up a 1901 Hardman Upright Grand piano I had purchased at a foreclosure sale, and the very first song I wrote on it was this song. Christmas Song, an Alaskan Pageantry

This is a jazzy blues song with a touch of country... I wrote it as a dedication to my mother who was diagnosed with a memory loss issue in late 2014. In the winter of '15 I spent a few months with her in Arizona, and sadly, what most likely will be her last trip there. She surprised me by taking another final trip up to Alaska this past summer. We had a wonderful time and we sent her home with MANY more memories and this song as a reminder of our cherished love.
