NOTES:
This song goes out to any ladies that have ever been told that they couldn't do a certain job or activity simply because they're female.

The lyrics were inspired by some comments I saw on the "Homeland" facebook page, regarding how Carrie (a female CIA agent) seduced a college student that is far too young for her. Whilst that was true, if James Bond did the same thing, most people wouldn't question it.

Musically, I wanted to fuse the spy theme (similar to Jack White/Alicia Keys' Bond theme) with a rock vibe influenced by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Audioslave, Foo Fighters & Metallica.

The only way that gentlemen are better than we
Is in their bodies, they’re physically stronger than me
And as a lady, we’re mentally brought up to be weak

This song was inspired by an email from my uni guitar teacher. He wrote ‘Do not change who you are for social or commercial expediency,’ as a response to one of my graduation recital markers who didn’t approve of my classical guitar rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

I wrote this song for someone who had lost one of their childhood friends tragically to suicide. It's also for anyone who's going through a hard time and needs a reminder that its okay to be feeling what you're feeling and that there is no time limit when it comes to healing.
