This is way after the fact here, but I could shed a bit of light on this song. The band Princeton was pushing their stuff to music blogs back in the mid-2000s. I ran one of these blogs and they sent me their CD with this song on it. I recall writing a post about the song and shared the mp3. Not sure they did much beyond the couple albums from back then.
