Herewith what I did with a piece of mine that I wrote 20 years ago and never was able to get a right sound and intention in the string sound with samples. Cinematic Studio Strings is coming very very close.

This is the second movement from a small sinfonetta for strings: Sarabande.

Just got Cinematic Studio Strings yesterday, and this is my first test run with the legato! This track uses only the close mics, which are very detailed and rich.

Walk In Bern

There was a time, some years ago, in which I was used to upload some music as soon as I composed it. 
This is the case. Yesterday it was such a classical autumn day, which cold, wind and rain. The best time to compose! 
So this is the conversation I had with my piano yesterday - just a short sketch, a rough draft on the strings I am touching these days. 
And, as I did in the past, this one is for free.

November Sketches

Rainy Day (in Dmin)

This is the original piano sketch I wrote before starting the full arrangement of Habibi. It is a live recording on my Scholze upright piano. I used in the middle part a Strymon Timeline Delay (you can actually hear the click-in and out of the pedal in the track) to sketch the idea of the synth I used later in the full orchestrated track. I thought it was cool to release it as b-side of the single.
