The Power (Live at It's A Vibe - May 24)

High-energy, multi-genre mix recorded at Fallapalooza in October 2024 containing mostly edits to keep the familiarity level high for a diverse audience. This mix was designed to get the dance floor moving. The title refers to the first and last track - a masterpiece by Bowie & Queen later used by Vanilla Ice.

Under Pressure (Live at Fallapalooza - Oct 24)

A fun yet soulful set that spans a wide range of house music. After a genre skipping, experimental start (coming soon) I settled into this last half of 3.5 hours. Playing new music is what drives me, but the end of this set are tracks I have played a lot and reach for the spiritual side of house music. Getting to a place where I can play these tracks is the point of night in my mind, and I am so glad it got captured.

Just a Little Time (Live at It's a Vibe - Oct 24)

A fluid b2b with thatscoolface recorded live - pun intended as just before the event started a multi-day atmospheric river drenched the bay area. Chugging from 105 bpm groovey house music through peak time bangers into an experimental set of 140 bpm UK inspired dance music then back down again. 

This could be my favorite recording of 2024.

Live w thatscoolface (It's A Vibe - Nov 24)

This is my take on Deep Disco, the spawn of two of my favorite genres - Disco & Deep House. It is intentionally upbeat and groovy, aimed at keeping a dancing floor moving, but still subtly deep, even hypnotic at times toward the end. When I close my eyes imagine playing this as a deep orange sun sets over that place in the desert surrounded by the people I love. Enjoy.

Boogie (Deep Mix)

I finally decided to release my set from our party last year during the Fairfax Festival. This recording is over 3 hours going from day time disco to some serious club bangers to garage to soulful house to afro house and even some drum and bass. 

This was a crazy day. We ran from celebrating my oldest son's first play to setting up this party. I ended up playing for close to 4 hours. The crowd started very light, but the party kept building up to the point where the band playing in the evening was delayed 30min so I could finish my set (thanks Tommy Odetto for being cool about that!)

Live at It's a Vibe - Fairfax Festival 24 - 2024-06-09

It's a lovely day and the sun is shining. Floating and dozing through the day, you drift aimlessly. The music starts slowly and soulfully then gives way to gentle grooves. As the temperature rises sunbathers shake their shoulders and sip their way through the day. Before you know it the sun is setting on a dance floor filled with friends.

Lovely Day

Around 18 weeks a child in the womb can start hearing sounds. With that in mind I put together a collection of relaxed yet beautiful songs meant to ease entry into the world.
