Vincent is a 21-years-old, German-born but is currently based in London. In a nutshell: 4 years ago he started to get into mixing. After a rather long break, he then moved away to Russia on his study abroad program. Over there he has some time to deeply immerse himself in music. He changed his music direction and felt more comfortable with slower and melancholic sounds.
Music allows Vincent to maintain a great balance between creative passions and studies. What seems to be a good efficient strategy, isn't it?
Vincent is serving great-selection realness, several rhythmic layers and different styles of music. It is a harmonious synthesis; we can ride through a soundscape where grooves, melancholy and rhythm merge into one enthralling symbiosis.

Heute hab ich einen ganz besonderen Leckerbissen für euch parat. Dieses megastimmungsvolle Set ist ein Live-Recording von Moji (Motomenja) vom grandiosen Bucht der Träumer Festival 2017. Inspiriert von der Morgensonnen nach einer stürmischen Nacht, spielten Moji, Tom und Svenja ein Herzens-Set für lachende und sonnige Tänzer auf dem Antlantis Floor. Und man kann es nicht anderes sagen … aber die Stimmung kommt voll durch.

Motomenja ist ein Deep-House/Downtempo Projekt der Künstler MOji [@moji-taali], TOM [@te-em-berlin] und svENJA [@plattenstreich]. Eine verwobene Symbiose aus atmosphärischen Klängen, sanften Melodien, treibenden Rhythmen und starken Bässen. Jedes Set lädt auf eine eigene Reise durch die weite Welt des Ambient und Downtempo ein, begleitet von groovigen Live-Elementen und fantasievollen Improvisationen auf der E-Violine.

Das Cover von Moji wurde während des Sets live vom wunderbaren Adam Paquette gezeichnet. Hier auch nochmal ein dickes Lob und Dankeschön. https://www.instagram.com/adampaquette/

Es gibt wenige Künstler die mich im letzten Jahr extrem begeistert haben mit Ihrer Musik. Dazu gehört zweifelsohne der Berliner Künstler Baba Sikander mit seinem „kundalini schingeling“ Sound. Er versteht es wie kein anderer verschiedenste musikalische Einflüsse in einen unwiderstehlichen Soundteppich zu verweben und dabei doch diesen gewissen roten Faden mit einzuflechten. 

Auch als Produzent kreiert er zeitlose und sehr ausdrucksstarke Sounddokumente. Besonders hervorzuheben sind hier der Track „Draisine“, der auch das Intro meines Year-Mix 2016 von Adam Peter bildete. Und natürlich „Mantra“ der auf Lump Rec. released wurde --- ein Beispiel dafür das indische Mantras nicht kitschig daher kommen müssen --- Glück kann auch deep und melancholisch klingen.

Für sound(ge)cloud hat sich Baba Sikander mächtig ins Zeug gelegt --- möge „die Frische des Seins“ nur immer so sein. Danke Alex für deine Mühe und deinen besonderen Sound. Und nun genug der Worte --- möge „kundalini schingeling“ mit euch sein.
