I tried a new strategy to write this song… I made a quick beat and just started singing to it. Then I added some chords and then built out the music… I like how it ended up so might try more of this!

Move Out (Demo)

Demo of a new song I am working on. I really wanted to write a song using only the Mbira as a backing track. I was so happy with the end result that I did not want to change any of the instrumentation for the demo. I do plan on making a more orchestrated final version when I am ready to release it as an official single.

I have loved the song “Cuckoo” by Netta since the first time I heard it. It’s have wanted to cover it for a while and this is my first stab at it. I’m looking forward to ironing it out and releasing it as an official single!… maybe with a music video?
