Armelle's voice moves away from Germanic influences, digging deeper and further south."

Minimalistic forms of industrial with a pop-rock feeling as well as strong references to eastern traditional folk music. A nostalgic casio melody is blooming over the broken-beat rhythms. Rivière de Corps est le projet solo d'Adrien Clergeot, originaire de Troyes {dans l'Aube) et désormais basé à Strasbourg. Après avoir longtemps tourné avec le groupe Satellite, Adrien rassemble un matériel minimal (quelques synthés de vide-grenier, boîtes à rythme et pédales d'effet) et s'emploie à matérialiser une musique sombre, oppressante et dégradée, inspirée par les cultures fanzine, fantasy et un très grand nombre d'heures passées sur Quake.

la Chair Salée est le nom d'un dragon à Troyes. La légende dit que ce dragon serait Attila qui aurait lui-même été vaincu à la Rivière de Corps.

After gracing sublabel Charlois three times over the years, Timothy J. Fairplay finally lands on Pinkman with ‘Convictions That Stick’, furthering his sonic excursions into raw, jacking, yet evocative house music. ‘Convictions’ rattles through drum-machine workouts topped with soaring synthlines, inviting you to spiral in the club's darkest corners. Between the shuffled claps, ominous melodics and delay-laden syncopation, 'Convictions' playfully evokes both the mechanical exploration of urban space, and the claustrophobic intimacies encountered within it. There's even a nod towards 1980s’ cult cinema hit 'The Bronx Warriors' at the end. Naturally, these six tracks find a perfect home on Pinkman.
