Happy Pride! Summer is here in the U.S., and I am feeling the collective joy in the atmosphere. As we reflect on the contributions our forebears have made so that we can enjoy the freedom and acceptance that many of us enjoy today, I wanted to pay tribute to the tea dance, which was first created in Fire Island in the 1960s. I hope to carry on this distinctly American style of music and event well into the future. There's nothing like soaking up the afternoon sun surrounded by friends and great music. A time to acknowledge the struggle… but to also revel in the joy of celebration, let go of the stresses and come together… and let the music move you.

It was a special LIVESTREAM GARDEN PARTY at my house here in Birmingham, starting early on the perfect weather day of May 31st. I moved the DJ equipment and speakers outside with the backdrop of Nature’s beauty behind us and was joined by David Ohmann and DJ Mike Pope from Atlanta. We were very much looking forward to sharing our music with listeners then ... and now with you!
Our new age of entertaining takes quite an effort, but it’s all been worth it. So many thanks to our producer, David Ohmann, for managing while letting our creativity flow as he made the experience available to you in so multiple ways!
