Chris Armes’ debut album features prolific bass legend Ted Russell Kamp (Shooter Jennings) - Bass, Kevin Post - Lead Guitars/Pedal Steel, Erik Olson - Lead Guitars, M Callahan & Justine Valdez - Vocal Harmonies, Christian Dorn, and Hubert Payne (Keb Mo) on drums. 

Chris spent his early years as the stepson of a Wyoming rodeo bull rider. Moving from town to town and traveling the rodeo circuit throughout the Western U.S with his family, Chris received a 1st class education in country and folk music. After the divorce of his parents, Chris settled back in San Diego only to learn that a tragic rodeo accident had left his stepfather paralyzed. Chris began writing songs, forming notable punk rock bands in his teens, eventually signing to Billie Joe Armstrong’s Label, Adeline Records. “Teen angst is great fuel to get you started, but you eventually need something more to keep going”, Chris has noted. “I’ve always held a deep respect for the story-telling and integrity of roots Country and Americana music.” After the punk and rock bands broke up and all lessons learned, Chris landed right back where he started - Country Music. 

Chris Armes is an Americana Music Association Member and San Diego Music Awards Winner. His music has also appeared in various TV programs such as Discovery Channel’s ‘The Devil’s Ride’.
