TYYP are awesome and this isn't a patch on the original but I found it in my music folder and thought I'd like to upload it. I tried to reinterpret it slightly so it wasn't a complete copy but it's not as great as their version :)

The Ship Swings Free - Thank You, Yes Please [acoustic cover]

I wrote something really quickly this morning to test out my guitar, bass and keyboard with direct USB input to Audacity. I made the drumbeat with the Addictive Drums plug-in in FL Studio. I had loads of fun making it and I think it's an enjoyable clip so I thought I'd upload it. Hopefully there'll be lots more where this came from gradually increasing in quality. Watch this space!

Instrumental test (just for fun)

This is an alternate slightly more fleshed out version of January's girl without vocals. I'd like to take this idea and work on redoing that song at some point but I thought this was worth sharing at least. I think drums were made using addictive drums and FL studio. 

The "solo" at the end was actually a failed take at something else but I carried on playing and got really into it, I left it in because I liked it and didn't have a mic at the time for vocals.

Blues/Rock Jam

Just made this for fun really. I wanted to make something that was straight forward but out of my comfort zone. Made with cubase  and groove agent midi drums. Recorded in one day but I'd had the idea for the song for a while.

It's been a long time in the making but I finally finished my first studio recorded single! I had loads of fun making this. It wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and talent of Phil Quy and Ben Newton of masterworx studio in Maldon, Essex.
