After one and a half decade and more than 370 releases, Compost Records bundles some of their finest tunes as Various Artists digital download compilation albums. 
The variety and full spectrum of Compost’s repertoire has never or rarely been presented in form of a musical genre compilation. These releases will be 
compiled or DJ-mixed by Compost’s artists and are available as digital downloads, except in some rare cases very very limited as 500 CDs.

After the first volume of the Compost Jazz Selection there were still so many tracks in the vault that could be used for a second compilation. 
So Rupert & Mennert started to dig again for all the beautiful gems that were still tucked away waiting to re-shine! For this second volume they took a more smooth-jazz approach with an occasional bite. This gives way for tracks from the likes of Marbert.Rocel, Burnt Friedman, Alif Tree, Salvador Group, Les Gammas, 
The Cinematic Orchestra, Kaos, Mystéfy, Joseph Malik and Nuspirit Helsinki!

The mix is a perfect blend. It will be an interesting play in the jazz cafe as well as at home, in the wee hours of the night, accompanied by a nice glass of wine 
or something stronger. While the wind is howling and the fireplace provides a comfortable warmth.

Who are Rupert & Mennert?
They reside in Den Helder, The Netherlands. One of the most beautiful cities in the world. From there they send their fine radioshow into the wide world. 
The show is currently re-invented. The  Sound of Swound ran for more then 200 shows. But it will be replaced by something even better: “Weird Pigs - not for copycats”. This will also run on www.djbroadcast.fm www.djbroadcast.fm and www.play.fm. Besides their love for broadcasting they produce music too. Together with Me Raabenstein they released, as Lagerfeltz, an album on Nonine Recordings, Berlin.Together with remix-work for Energie du Verre and Ensemble du Verre (Batterie Records, Hamburg) their release-roster is building. 
A remix on this very label is also in the making.

COEO are back on Toy Tonics! After uninterrupted touring around the globe, followed by a short creative break the guys come back with an even stronger sound. With the new EP they go more underground again. Its addressed to the clubs and night owls out there, who turn night into day and won't stop dancing! 

The sound is based on classic house patterns and includes a lot of cool saxophones, big piano stabs & rhythmic piano solos. They even go tribal, use arpeggios and switch into breakbeat heaven. The four Originals are a great next step in the COEO evolution. The unique warm, catchy atmosphere of the tracks can create that special COEO euphoria which made them a lot of fans. From Moodymann to Disclosure, Mall Grab to Kenny Dope, the list is long. 

It’s fantastic to see how popular they became over the last couple of years. The last COEO vinyl sold over 2500 copies and some of their tracks have millions of Spotify plays. It’s DJ FOOD. Pure bliss!
