My favorite versions of DooM's music

Doom has been around for 20 years now. Whenever I got up to this level the music always made it more epic so I decided to have some fun with recording it, enjoy!

There was only one song helding me back from finishing Doom Remakes... Remade! and it was this one. The first album (the one with the Doom 1 songs) is ready to be mixed, but first, I must finish the second album (the one with the Doom II songs).

This song is a little difficult to perform and I had to rely on studio trickery to get it right. In short words, I recorded most of it in D standard, except from the last segment, which was recorded in drop C and the "feedbacks" are just an harmonic reversed with lots of reverb.

I first recorded this song in 2009 and back then I thought nobody had done a version of it that made it justice. It's 2016 and I still haven't heard a version of this song that makes me feel like getting up and headbang or whatever. This one is a MASSIVE improvement over the version in Doom Remakes.

This one is not the final version, though. I know I went off time at the end with the guitars, but I have to wait at least until monday to get back in the studio and I couldn't hold it anymore, I had to share this with the world!
