A fat cat sat on a hat
A hand picked up the cat
when he did the hat was flat
so the fat cat got her food last

so also, she didn't see her best friend for a month

I am trying to work
but it isn't dry
I walked by a store
A boy was crying
A bird was flying

I don't like pie

I don't wear a tie
Don't tell a lie
I cried today
I tried to get to my seat
I have eyes

I don't want a piece of pie

I rite write with a pencile on the highway
Turn right at the store
Mom cut my hair
A hare is a rabbit
Do you see a bee?
When you're born, you're new
I knew that you like blue
Negative means know
k-n-o-w spells know and
A wolf blew a house down
Be a good boy said mom.

We play ball on a wall
We fell off the wall
and we call from the wall
the ball fell off the wall
and I caught the ball
A truck could and would haul a car

I shall do my work

I was compelled to learn and record a version of this song after the events of this weekend. Though I wasn't very close to Jen and we only shared small talk and hugs at parties, alot of people I care about have been devastated by her loss. It was sudden, confusing and it will be a long time before we all truly feel its impact. So this song came to mind- to me it is about being human, making sense of this life and pursuing a purpose. I was thinking of Jen and of all you guys in the Manchester crowd as I played it..
