Snow Ghosts is the collaboration between Throwing Snow, aka Ross Tones, and vocalist Augustus Ghost, aka Hannah Cartwright. In 2013, they released their critically acclaimed debut full-length LP ‘A Small Murmuration’ on Houndstooth, and were named The Guardian’s ‘New Band of the Day’, Zane Lowe’s ‘Next Hype’, and have played a live acoustic session on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show.

‘Secret Garden’, the third single from the album, is an atmospheric, melancholic production that perfectly melds Ross’ love of chaos theory and Hannah’s earthy propensity for nature. Iconoclastic producer Matthew Herbert provides his delicately off-kilter 'Wash It All Away Remix', while avant-garde producer Richard Skelton offers up an unforgettable ambient drone re-work.

Black Acre's Blue Daisy features on the album version of 'Covenant', and he returns here with Hey!Zeus under the Dahlia Black collective to round out the EP with a raw, horror-core influenced hip-hop remix.

"Skylax head honcho Hardrock Striker teams up with DJ Sprinkles, celebrating two decades of Skylax Records and bringing politics to the dancefloor on Skylax House Explosion (S.H.E.). They present the second of three exclusive vinyl releases, accompanying the mix CD for the 20-year compilation. On this volume, Turkish producer Sinan Kaya kicks off the A-side with the classic deep house vibe of "What's Mine is Mine" a sexy/smoky jam for the late night, Parisian Flabaire gets deep down and dusty (as always) on the jazzy "Riders In The Sun". On the flip, Slowdawn picks up the pace with his energetic yet emotive "Don't Play Around" and closing the EP is Sameed Alexander Rezayan with the sweltering disco cut-up "See Ma Thang On You"."

Psssh is the new label formed by Dauwd Al Hilali and Dave Redmond,
born from a collection of demos the pair felt deserved their own home. The inaugural release is the first in a trilogy from Dauwd himself, signalling a departure from the sound that first brought him notoriety.

The project is eclectic, pursuing less contrived grooves, from impactful dancefloor works to an ambient playfulness.

The EP kicks off with ‘Jean Rouch’, a techno jam littered with driving percussion, and the eventual emergence of a properly satisfying bassline. ‘Idris’ is equally intriguing, an ever-flowing and meticulously layered groove that doesn't quit. 'Really Good’ concludes the record, impressing further a spirited and melodic slice of deep house.

Dauwd’s work is new and fresh, but with references to old that hold their own.

To serve his sonorous ideas the ferocious, and retro tribal art direction of artist Mauro Ventura delivers the perfect cinematic vision of Dauwd’s EP.
