" I don't think that I have to state the fact that the foundation of the song is a guitar. The most commonly used instrument in the music industry. And by far it doesn't feel overused at all. The melody of the main riff and the supporting sounds quickly reminded me of a certain artists and musicians.
This is going to sound crazy for some of you, but these are the ones that came to my mind after listening to this track:
Phil Collins, Foster the People, the Killers, Lady Gaga, and surprise surprise - Selena Gomez. I know, I'm insane!!!
Jumping straight to the themes, I can say with full confidence, it is no doubt filled with mystery, sci-fi, and a bit of an old-school detective aura.
Delighted by the Native American elements in this remix (as modest as they are), the others are expected, but the way they are scattered across the song, you can definitely classify it as a progressive tune, don't get me wrong it doesn't reach it's climax as you would expect, at the end, it goes back to where it started. 
But it doesn't necessarily mean that it's a bad thing. We're talking about dark disco. The style that has to have some emptiness at some points in the song. This is essential, especially for the endings. 
Overall, the song tends to change it's emotions, for some it can be off-putting, however, in my opinion - it is part of a charm." - Quixotical Music psychoanalyst Vidas Stanynas.


Undoubtedly one of the greatest releases of the year at Logia Records is “Body Rocks”, the EP with which BTCOP lands on the growing label based in Argentina and Mexico. The Glasgow-based producer presents 3 eclectic original tracks. “On a Heartbeat” an Electro piece with psychedelic tints in slow motion, “The Dribbler” has that electric vibe, guitars that we can also feel on the track that gives the EP its name, “Body Rocks” with a Dark-Disco sound.

Michael Fortvne presenta el cuarto sencillo de su próximo álbum, “Fantoche” en colaboración con el productor discográfico Fausto Apodaca mejor conocido como Fausto, originario de Los Mochis, Sinaloa, máximo exponente de la música electrónica del norte del país.

El proceso de esta colaboración fue intuitiva e improvisada, debido al corto tiempo de estudio que tenían disponible, se tomaron desiciones al calor del momento y se logró terminar el 90% del track usando únicamente lo que tenían a la mano: un sintetizador análogo, una laptop y la receta secreta especial por excelencia. 

Este track es una oda al artista que llevan dentro y a la vida nocturna en la cual nos vemos apabullados día con día. La desvelada y las drogas caras son el timón de esta fuerte linea vocal, letras explícitas y lineas de bajo chuggy, son las encargadas de llevar la pista de baile al éxtasis y la seducción.

The Playground universe lives in permanent expansion. On this occasion we are happy to present a new saga: 'Singles'.

There are songs that are an event in themselves. Daring, rebellious, unclassifiable. Some grow better away from everything, they do not respond to pre-established identities. Others mix with remnants of previous forms and mutate to generate a new sound. Those are the songs we like. Those that need their own path to widen the boundaries of what is possible.

The first launch of the new 'singles' series is 'Mil Heridas' by the spicy Mexico based duo Ali X x Ximena. Punk attitude all over the place, electro clash reminiscences, Spanish reckless lyrics. The song you need to put the night upside down.

As the project spearheaded by Nicholas Church and Joseph Spencer, Casino Times has been putting out quality productions for close to a decade. Following releases on Needwant, Omena and their own Casino Edits, the duo debuts on Hamburg-based record label Mireia Records. Demonstrating their cunning yet natural and flowing sound over the course of two originals, the package features remixes by Filburt, Rigopolar and Conga Fever.

Leading the string of remixes is Mireia's own Conga Fever. Taking cues from Belgian New Beat while sounding unconditionally modern at the same time, Conga Fever has crafted a bona fide festival anthem. After confidently building up tension and taking his time in the breakdown, the remix manages to release an incredible amount of energy.

The title track is an ode to the willingness and strength of Honduran people, a set of lyrics (crazy power, tastes rich, brave fght, sun's mirror) underpinned by a mischievous and heady mix of analogue wobbles and bleeps rubbing up against a slight but ever so slightly menacing drum pattern. Alejandro Veneno's remix gets out the guitars and amps to give a darker, more warped take on the original, punctuated by vocoder processed stabs, which edge their way between a sludgy bass guitar, almost without warning while the BPM slows down as the track progresses, as the synth sounds become vague and twisted. One of Electrique Music's bosses and Mexico’s most prolifc underground producers of the last decade, Mijo turns in the next remix, which turns up the bass and brings out some of the more analogue, glitchy elements of the original while working the vocal snippets to devastating efect, bringing about a more big room remodelling of the original. TYU turns up the acid with his rework, delivering a pinpoint accurate cowbell extravaganza, a sneaky synth line which almost hides beneath the vocal part until heavy bass comes in alongside an oriental sounding lead line, which ramps up the energy and forces the listener to bow down to a track which completes a series of 'violent weapons'. While the second original track, 'Filo Lacustre', sparkles, shimmers and bounces calmly like light of calm water... or a mirrorball.
