I listened to this on a layover (@LAS) while completing a research project for one of my courses; a family of 8-9 Russians settled next to me. It made me happy that they let their toddlers roam freely in silly trajectories around my vicinity–l imagine most parents would say: "Hey, give them space" or attempt to limit their range. As an advocate for "student agency" and "adolescent development," as a parent, I'd do the same (provided spatial awareness/social understanding develops through experience). Glances/smiles exchanged–my nonmetrical typing in sync with their curiosity/motion. While in different stages of our lives, we followed the same pursuit: learning. This audio looped over this entire scene–an exhibition of childhood innocence/exploration I appreciated witnessing. Retrospectively, it paled in comparison to the psychological densities I was facing–the juncture, a brief eclipse.
