Originally from Lille, Max's love for music took another dimension after moving to Berlin a few years ago. In his sets, he likes to blend sounds from the 90s with fresh tracks to create a unique atmosphere that suits the moment and vibe.

Merlina Joins Darkelementsofc Guestmix Series #021

Merlina, a DJ born in Buenos Aires Argentina, took her first steps in music in the production of various events in the underground scene, thus founding her event production company in Buenos Aires called Ornament. She dedicated these last few years to nurturing herself as an artist, training as a DJ and currently as a music producer where she continues to incorporate different hypnotic sounds and groove. She is currently part of the roster of a national artist agency called Blastkick, she has performed in various cycles and clubs in the capital and in the interior of the country, and abroad such as in Uruguay and European countries.

This EP mark the second release on Modular Archive, sub label of Modular Side Music. I put together, some of my most spaced out and mellower productions, characterised by smooth tones, “empty” grooves, and deep extra terrestrial atmospheres (hence the title). It’s a Sun but it does not shine.
