The first episode of our new Sound Avenue Mixed series welcomes Pedro Capelossi with a beautiful deep mix. With a career that spans just over half a decade, Pedro Capelossi has quickly emerged from Spain's avant-garde electronic music landscape. The Brazilian born, Barcelona based artist has forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of atmosphere and rhythm, drawing the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas has been a primary vehicle for Pedro's far-reaching work, with additional projects via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, The Purr and TOR highlighting his resume. Sound Avenue has also been a comfortable home for Pedro, with the Madloch and Subnode collaborations 'Turmeric Latte' and 'Vanilla Noise' marking his label debut in 2020, a project which spawned four originals and two remixes across the next two calendar years. Early 2023 his beautiful EP entitled 'Salted Caramel' got released on the label.

Reworck welcomes Petar Dundov back for its 53rd release, a momentous occasion. We hold Petar in the highest regard for his consistently high-quality productions, his unmistakable sound signature, and his unwavering artistic integrity. He's a true techno innovator, untainted by fleeting trends. His productions have graced iconic labels like Music Man, Sci Tec, and Cocoon.
For this release, "Experanto" bears all the hallmarks of this talented producer's work. The accompanying remix comes from label owner Pole Folder, collaborating with one of Reworck's newest rising stars, Uruguayan producer Federico Epis. Together, they've crafted a track infused with melodic techno flavors and a powerful progressive drive. As always, the mastering is in the trusted hands of Strob Studio.

An artist who continues to impress with a growing portfolio of high-calibre music, Hot TuneiK returns to Proton Music with the striking twin-track "Circles of You". Remixes come courtesy of Hungarian and Argentinean stars.

DJ, producer, promoter and record label owner, Hot TuneiK has found himself at the forefront of Mexico's underground dance scene. Unforgettable Hookah showcase events and a unique brand of deep and progressive house have seen regular appearances for the likes of Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue and Particles amount to almost 300 production credits. An April 2018 EP for Proton Music shone a spotlight on the Hot TuneiK name before remixes from Lanvary and Matter continued the "Revival". Now returning, the flowing melodic lines of "Circles of You" meander enticingly before a deep beat and rich percussion filter into range. Building majestically, a simple grooved arpeggio provides another rhythmic anchor before extending in range into the third movement. White-noise washes add to the overall character in an elegant work. Partner track, "Melancolia", opens with a deep and flowing rhythm that hypnotises with its muted melodic underpinning. Weaving a magical spell, cadenced arpeggios and freeform string and key motifs are sprinkled liberally across the upper frequencies to mesmerising effect before joining forces with the sumptuous rhythm in the second half.

Hungarian duo Peter Makto & Gregory S are no strangers to success. Founders of the Truesounds Music label and DJ agency, their hard work has seen them become high-profile names at home. Simultaneously, a production career has found the duo on the catalogues of some of the finest labels that include Bondage Music, King Street Sounds and Go Deeva. September 2018's "Purple Rain" saw a full debut on Proton Music with a glorious twin-track offering and a remix of Michael A's "My Style" earlier in the year is now followed by a hypnotic reworking of Hot TuneiK. Using the arpeggio sequences found in "Circles of You" to impressive effect, Peter Makto & Gregory S have created a mesmerising remix that retains dancefloor character with chest-thumping kick and ticking percussive flavour. The coruscating patterns of Hot TuneiK's rich chord progressions add further depth in a compelling track.

A relative newcomer to the underground dance scene, Sebastian Sellares has quickly found himself as a sought-after producer under his own name and Monje moniker. With a "driving progressive house style" that has seen his work feature on Or Two Strangers, AMITABHA and PHW Elements, support has come from Hernan Cattaneo and Graziano Raffa. Now debuting on Proton Music, the Sebastian Sellares remix is an elegantly crafted affair that makes intelligent use of original components as a foundation for an array of new musical ideas to flow. The central riff from "Circles of You" plays a pivotal role as new motifs ripple around it in shimmering delay. Making their presence felt at the stripped back mid-point, they emerge into the third movement backed by a wonderful new bassline that ties superbly to the driving beat and high-cadence percussion. The result is sublime affair hallmarked in quality.

Centrifugal forces keep Hot TuneiK's "Circles of You" spinning with ever-increasing power.

Christopher is an up and coming Producer and DJ based in Dubai, UAE. His passion for electronic music was born back in 2007, when he listened to a live set by Hernan Cattaneo for the very first time. Ever since, a desire and curiosity for music grew exponentially inside of him. His style is a unique blend of progressive, deep and melodic house - always seeking music with a nice groove that evokes emotions. He's also influenced by the works of Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Fabrizio Paterlini and Ólafur Arnalds to name a few.
