As the golden hues of sunset bathe the tranquil forest, a baby panda named Bao sits contentedly, nibbling on a stalk of bamboo. The soft piano melodies that float through the air seem to echo his gentle, rhythmic chewing. Bao's round, curious eyes gaze at the fading light, filled with the innocence and wonder of youth.

Each day is a new adventure for Bao, and as the last rays of the sun retreat, he feels a bubbling excitement for the promise of tomorrow. His mind drifts to dreams of fresh bamboo shoots, playful escapades, and the comforting embrace of his mother. The serene piano notes blend with the gentle rustling of the leaves, creating a lullaby that lulls Bao into a peaceful slumber.

Tomorrow holds the promise of more delicious bamboo, new discoveries, and endless joy. As the soft piano music carries on, Bao’s dreams are sweet and filled with the warmth of the coming day, where every sunrise brings new beginnings and endless possibilities.

Those recited by David are verses from one of the most famous poems and one of the greatest Italian poets of the 20th century (Eugenio Montale). They are taken from the collection entitled ‘Ossi di seppia’ ('The bones of cuttlefish'), published in Italy in 1925, and several times translated into English (alone or together with other works by Montale).
Many thanks to David (@david-dunhamuser589535203), who agreed to collaborate on this little creation, also adding his refined guitar phrasing. All the (usual) imperfections are mine.

All Over Again

Christopher is a talented multi-instrumentalist, musician, songwriter, teacher and producer from Toowoomba, Queensland in Australia.

Christopher toured Australia when he was 18 years old with a 13 piece band and has been performing ever since.

Christopher is credited with co-writing, recording and producing four instrumental EP’s, his own instrumental album as well as credits on many singles as a songwriter, instrumentalist and producer with many talented Australian songwriters and performers.
