Tracktober 015: Hoot Hoot (Fireflies by Owl City Cover) in Eb major at 103 BPM

Day 15 of my Tracktober challenge 🎃 — every day this month I’m writing and posting a track sketch. These are works-in-progress (WIP), not finished mixes (I only put max 2 hours into each one!) — the goal is to practice showing up daily, experiment with new ideas, and share the creative process openly instead of waiting until everything is “perfect.”

• Concept: Synths and sound design! Pick a MIDI sample and run with it. I chse  
• What I practiced: Oscillators, MIDI refining, finding synths/presets, samples, effects, etc. 
• Imperfections: I’m still trying to make it sound a bit more “rock disco” without sounding TOO dirty, but so far, we’re just playing and it’s fun. 
• Influences: TOMMY the musical this time!

Tracktober 015 - Hoot Hoot (Unfinished Sketch with Fireflies by Owl City)

Amidst fall 2025, a concerning sudden heat wave hits the Northern Hemisphere. The unexpected hot air mass came straight from Le Babar and it's called EASY LOVE - for the immediate influence it has on young adults everywhere to take their clothes off.

The humidity levels in MOODSWING are enough to make everyone soaking WET like a rainforest storm. We strongly advise against fur, leather and hermetic materials - you're going to sweat your a** off! 
This severe temperature swing in SWEET NOTHING is causing concerns amongst public officials over areas it's going through. Lifelong suit-men are being spotted showing calves for the first time in half a century, and it's not, we warn, a pretty sight.

The good news is hot babes and muscly daddies are letting it out hang out with the 
historic-high levels of GROOVE for this time of year. Sensitive skin residents should mind Le Babar's damp disco, the super French burns and nauseatingly hypnotic loops.
