Chaty & Tamez aka Alberto Ortega and Hector Tamez made their debut in the electronic music scene in 2014, with 'My Scape' on David Seaman's Selador and then followed up with a release entitled 'Depopulation' on Suruba Records. They have since released on Fade Records, Sincopat, Dialtone, Union Jack, and Eklektisch. Chaty & Tamez come forth with a 6 track EP on Anathema Records by the name of 'Fake Voices' with remixes by John Tejada, Several Definitions, and Anathema Records founders, Alerch & Fec.

The first track in the EP goes by the name, 'Introspection' and starts off with a nice and steady beat and undertones that eventually coalesce with a delicate melodic build that continues to triumph. The title track, 'Fake Voices' follows suit creating an otherworldly atmosphere purveying an emotive element. The 3rd original track in this 6 track EP, goes by the name 'Hell Go' and begins with a bit of a faster pace before presenting spacey undertones and a very unique sound.

John Tejada puts forth a catchy and groovy remix of 'Introspection' in the last part of the EP adding a few more melodious traits and less pauses and build up. Several Definitions follow up to John's remix turning 'Fake Voices' into a Techno track that continuously chugs along. The otherworldly atmospheric outlays are stripped a bit and altered resting on top of a steady, infectious bassline. Alerch & Fec then finish off the EP with their rendition of 'Hell Go' with a steady, driving pace that surely will get the dancefloor moving and listeners nodding their head. The instrumentals are duly placed accompanying the addictive melodies.

Remember when Jannowitz records released Octopussy EP by BOHO and Maksim Dark early this year? Remember when we already spoiled you with our outstanding remixers Stefan Biniak, Acumen and Justin James? Remember when we promised you that you would hear more from our delicious Octopus? Well, the JAW family KEEPS ITS PROMISES! Octopussy was such a success that we asked completely new faces to join Jannowitz records and play with the Octopussy. And we couldn't believe what happened next. Three of our favourite producers said yes. The headquarter went crazy! The result is nothing less than an entire Octopussy Remix EP touching everything between house and techno - just like the original EP. You are very welcome!Our first remixer need no introduction. Betoko has been a legend for years. There is a lot the London based producer could brag about: releases on Diynamic, Get Physical, Einmusika, Katermukke; shows at almost every club you have ever heard of. Ans still he took the time to deconstruct Octopussy. His remix dripping with bits and details you will recognise from the original and new little add-ons - notably a kick as strong as we like it. Two words to our second remixers: Township Rebellion. Moonootica's Moonbootique, Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent, Reiner Zonneveld's Filth On Acid. And now: BOHO's Jannowitz Records?! These two humble guys have stormed the electronic music world within very short time. Their tracks always seeming to tell an epic tale from a far away land. And that is exactly what Township Rebellion did with Octopussy. The synth-melody floating above the 9-minutes-masterpiece makes it sound like something sent from heaven. Our favourite: The break - one of Township rebellion's signature elements. There has to be another way. Stay with me. - These words give us the shivers. And apparently all of our remixers as well.Betoko kept them. Township Rebellion kept them. And our third remixer kept them as well. Kellerkind is our second Stil vor Talent act on this EP. He has been in the business for more than a decade and knows his shit. His housy Octopussy edition surprised us by using a lot of elements from the original but still achieving to sound totally different from the blueprint. Stepping next we got Greek talent Ziger, the artist of Sudbeat Music, Movement Recordings, Outta Limits, who is striking Eleatics Records with perfectly sitting on our sound 'After Midnight' EP.
Space-melodic groove of the main 'After Midnight' says pretty clearly when this needs to be played; enrolling bass with beautifully layered synthesis of melodies makes a great impression of this track.
Already familiar to us and the thousands of fans worldwide Several Definitions from Switzerland makes his remix of 'After Midnight' with a long story envelope with a flying and leftfield progressive feeling.
'Back Door' turns out to be a closing track, so saying, 'closing doors' one of the release.

Twelve releases and a hefty load of aid to families across the African continent later, Lost on You - the first and only record label to give 100% of its profits to charity - is still knocking out the bombs, recently ranking amongst the top 38 of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno labels. It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be.
