Will Atkinson’s ‘Darkboy’ is back - making a welcome return to Perfecto Fluoro with a hybrid trance and breaks record full of dark twisted textures and driving beats.

The original of Damage has seen heavy support on initial select send outs and now a powerful package of remixes joins the party – covering breaks, psy and a more progressive sound. 

First up is John Dopping who has had solid support from Paul Oakenfold on radio, live sets as well as numerous compilations. John’s mix perfectly showcases that middle ground between trance and psy whereas Chris Voro, another Oakenfold fav, steps up to create a full on breaks mix with power and energy. Expect more from these guys in the future on Fluoro. 

Last and by no means least Steve Haines returns after his last appearance remixing Sonic Element’s Destruction to bring us an awesome bassline fueled progressive trancer.

Already an artist and supporter of the Discover Records family, his vision was to create a selection of chilled remixes of classic tracks from within the labels back catalog.

More of an artist album than a traditional compilation, Chris Voro and his fellow collaborators has taken original mixes from artists including John Askew, Activa, Sean Tyas, Greg Downey, Bryan Kearney, John O’Callaghan, Para X and Aly and Fila and applied a unique chilled vibe to create some simply superb genre redefining remixes.

These are not just classic chillout remixes, but more of an analog cinematic approach to the originals.

Gambits & chicanery, intrigue, ploys ‘n’ subterfuge – who doesn’t like a bit of the deep down ‘n’ dirty in their musical lives!!? Bang on cue the Skullduggery crew are back to provide us with precisely those types of thrills! 

Last year’s ‘The Art Of Skullduggery’ saw the label plot its first mix-comp course, painting their vision over ‘Vol.1’s dual-disc canvas. At its heart was Chief Skull Greg Downey’s desire to share both his inimitable combustible trance sound and that of other talents who - on the scale – have been underexposed. Stoneface & Terminal showcased in last spring’s inaugural, but for 2020’s it’s Beatman & Ludmilla who grab some second disc spotlight. 

A backbone of the country’s electronic music scene for well over a decade the Hungarian duo has evolved through its breaks and prog periods, regularly playing 25 in-country shows a year. It is though through psy-trance that they’ve found their higher calling, which subsequently brought them to Greg’s attention. Back in 2018 he persuaded the enigmatic duo to break with their Ayra Recordings release tradition and license ‘Dune’ to Skullduggery. Its exposure quickly widened interest and audience for the pair, which in turn opened the release floodgates and ultimately leads us to today and the release of the trio’s pretty darn killer collaboration ‘The Art Of Skullduggery Vol. II’
