A true Chicago legend, Kenny was a Chicago cop who moonlighted as a DJ.  Chicago DJ's at that time were known for fast transitions and playing a song for only 30 seconds or so.  These mixes really move - they really hold your attention since they fly through so many songs in an hour.  Great mix of classic Chicago house and Italo disco.  

WBMX Chicago 1985 - Kenny 'Jammin' Jason

Born and raised in Chicago with blues and house music in my blood.  I'm a DJ as well as guitarist.  Grew up listening to WBMX and WGCI "hotmixes" on the radio - before house music was even known outside Chicago.  Learned to DJ in 1985 from one of the top DJ's in Chicago.  Moved to L.A. in 1987 where I DJ'd at the height of the underground rave scene in Los Angeles.  Put the wheels of steel away to go to USC and focus on my degree.  I DJ now just for fun (I'm a full-time software developer) and play guitar.
