23rd of November sees esteemed Italian DJ/producer Luca Donzelli and Ibiza Icon Mar-T team up to deliver their brand new single ‘Tarabaralla’ via WOW! Recordings.

This striking 2 track release sees the dynamic duo join forces once again to continue their fine current form and follow on from their previous endeavours together on labels such as Elrow, Sanity, Moon Harbour, Do Not Sleep, 8Bit, This and That and Hot Creations amongst others.

‘Tarabaralla’ sees the WOW! Recordings label heads serve up a heady concoction dancefloor-ready tech house elements, featuring their trademark percussion-heavy groove, a cleverly manipulated vocal sample, a deep throbbing sub bassline and an abundance of intriguing sound effects.

The original is then followed by a subline remix from the rising UK-based DJ/producer Jansons, who utilises the original’s key elements but takes the record into a completely new direction by injecting a stellar disco / funk flavour.

“Paris Comes First” (the title track) is more Chain Reactionary with its chords, and aims for both the expanse of Deepchord and the emotion of vintage Detroit. If there’s to be any criticism here, perhaps it’s that the sound is measured and calculated to the point of placid premeditation. But maybe that’s the record’s strength — it’s a simmered and considered debut which carries the maturity of a seasoned hand. Surely, Worthy has gone to the right parties and hung out with the right cats. More importantly, he seems to hold the right talent to soak in all the history around him — and deftly re-imagine it.
