The 4th track, the hypnotic "Makar", is from the hands of a duo: Opera Omnia, the new progressive and melodic techno project from Filippo J Nitti (Alan Banjo) and Juri Ceresato (Micro Bites), both from Italy but now based in Manchester. They have previously released on labels such as Armada, Spinnin, Universal, Bush, 1605, Intec, and many more.

One of the main goals of Chrom Recordings is to unite people from all over the world by means of quality electronic music: Monostone from Egypt and Alfonso G from Mexico got to know each other from their mutual output on our label and decided to join hands for their next Chrom EP. Another goal of Chrom is growth and also here Monostone and Alfonso G are a perfect exemple of. They both started with single tracks on some of our samplers, eventually resulting in their own Chrom EP, which is called "Skyline" and consists of 2 pure progressive house originals: "Fancy" and "Rounds".

On top of that we also added 2 new names to our roster for the remixes. First up is Wailey who is also from Egypt. Wailey just only released his first official track last year, but followed with recent output on Pillar, Awen, Krafted Undergroud, Polyptych and Project 13 he is definitely a name to watch. So we are happy to have him already on board with his remix of "Fancy". Check out the very special break he added to the original!

And last but not least we have the Amsterdam duo Around Us for the remix of "Rounds". These guys are on a roll this year with appearances on labels such as Magnitude, Tarnished, Electronic Tree, Artessa, Mango Alley, Clubsonica, 3rd Avenue, Mirabilis, Traum, Duenia, ICONYC Noir,... just to name a few. They add their typical deep touch to the original, turning the original into a compelling 10 minute trippy journey.

It's that time of the year again! October, which means it's normally time for the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the most important event in the world concerning our style of electronic music. But after the cancellation of last year due to the global pandemic, at the moment we are writing this press release it is still unclear if the edition of this year will go ahead or not for that same reason... But just a last year the virus will not stop us from releasing our annual ADE Sampler which has become more than a yearly tradition!

On our ADE2021 release called "Amsterdam 2021" we showcase once again some of our talents to the world: we present you 10 brand-new exclusive tracks, covering the full spectrum from deep Progressive House to peaktime Melodic Techno. There are not less than 7 new tracks from Chrom core members: our label manager Pedro Mercado and Karada, Fernando Lagreca, Qarrassa, Christian Bonori, The Note V, Alex Sharp and Aves Volare who teams up for this occassion with ANMA. We also welcome back a familiar duo: Opera Omnia who released on our latest Chromologic Sampler. And last but not least we are proud to introduce also some new faces: Divestorm from Belgium and Tikanni from Ireland.

CHROM goes to ADE 2021: V.A. - "Amsterdam 2021" + label showcase!

e are back from ADE where we had an amazing Label Showcase: big thx to the many people who joined us there!

And now it's time again for new music. We present you Jickow: a lover of melodies, sound and rhythm, but above all a lover of the emotions that music provides. It all begins in the south of France, between Montpellier and Marseille, where Jickow is moving the electro scene. As a DJ, art director, manager of a booking agency and talent scout he's in the core of the nightlife. After making a name for himself in the south of France, Jickow exported his path, went abroad and mixed in some of the best clubs in Europe. But it is finally in Belgium that Jickow fully blossomed as a staple of Brussels nightlife.

The title track "Dry Haze" is a a super catchy melodic masterpiece. The second track "Mono No Aware" is much deeper, floating on an intriguing vocal. The title track "Dry Haze" is remixed by France based producer Atribút who released already on labels such as Selador, Beatfreak, OKO, Univack, Siona, Area Verde,... Atribút gives a progressive house touch to the original. And last but not least the second track is remixed by FiveP, an Italian artist who won the "20 Years of Poker Flat" Remix Contest in 2020 with a remix of Hannes Bieger. Since then his music is signed on labels such as 3000 Grad, BeatFreak, Freegrant, Awen, Dear Deer, Natura Viva,... FiveP adds some extra power to "Mono No Aware".

For our first Chrom EP of 2021 we are super proud to welcome Christian Bonori to our label. Christian Bonori is a highly appreciated Italian dj, producer and remixer in the international club scene. Over the years Christian has been releasing original tracks & remixes on respected record labels such as Yoshitoshi, Suara, Bush, ICONYC, Krafted, Click, Natura Viva, Jaw Dropping, Jannowitz,... and now also on Chrom Recordings! Christian Bonori pampers us with 2 really amazing tracks. The title track "Dark Breakfast" simply blew us away the first time we heard it: an impressive melodic house/techno banger with a truely conjuring vocal! On be B-side we find the equally strong but a bit more progressive house oriented track called "Planetary Alignment" which is filled with some amazing atmospheric soundscapes. The latter one comes with a remix of our label manager Pedro Mercado himself who strips down the original, turning it into a more driving powerful melodic tune.
