Artist Info:
Hailing from Lille, France, Clawz SG has been an avid electronic music enthusiast from a young age. His passion for producing was initially something he engaged in purely for himself and his friends, however after much support and encouragement, he finally decided to take that final leap, thus paving way for the birth of Clawz SG. Clawz SG stays true to his roots and remains an old school synth aficionado, having collected an impressive selection of numerous analogue vintage synthesizers over the years. His name has become synonymous with the Deep House and Melodic Techno sounds of today. His debut release with Parquet Recordings in 2014, was a significant milestone clocking up two highly acclaimed collaborated tracks titled “Obvious” and “Abyss”. The success from Parquet 082 cemented a solid springboard for his musical art form and opened the flood gates to a succession of accomplished releases. To date he has remixed and produced originals with a number of well-established labels and his creative aspirations have compelled him to embark on a new and exciting phase of his career by joining the Steyoyoke Recordings family. With numerous releases and EPs under his belt, broadening his career will never change Clawz SG’s deep-seated morals or values. He’s an individual with strong family ties, even dedicating an entire EP to his family and proudly upholds many noble attributes within all his professional connections, which assures lasting relationships and solid honest partnerships within the industry. With all these positive traits and artistic facets to boast, Clawz SG has definitely found kindred spirits in his alliance with the Steyoyoke family. 2021 is looking bright with an album on the horizon.

Both of my parents were musicians in a band, so I got in contact with music very early. I started producing at age 16 and came to electronic music at 21- djing was not interesting for me back then. That just came after releasing on renomated labels.

Bio:

Berlin based DJ/Producer, MPathy, developed a strong interest for electronic music at a very young age. Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He later spent a couple of years in Chicago and also in Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scenes, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today. With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time, he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels.
After finishing his audio engineering studies in 2012 he joined the Berlin based Ethereal Techno label Steyoyoke. MPathy is responsible for the first and most successful Steyoyoke release in collaboration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. He played gigs all over Europe, Brazil and Africa and shared the decks with Oxia, Coeus, BLANCAh, Rauschhaus and Ran Salman, just to name a few.
MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to both challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music.

Depth Perception Sessions #67 - MPathy *

Chrom Recordings is an Ibiza-based electronic music label with roots in Austria & Belgium, founded in 2017 by Mike Chrom (creator & owner of Planet Ibiza) and DJ/Producer Pedro Mercado (known from his releases/remixes on Parquet, Kling Klong, Dear Deer, Proton, Natura Viva, Deeperfect, Smiley Fingers, Beatfreak,…). Both label founders have together more than 40 years of experience in the global electronic music scene and during the Ibiza summer of 2016 they came up with the idea to finally also start their own label according to their common musical philosophy which is ranging from deep-house over deep-tech to melodic techno. So Chrom Recordings was born to build a quality platform & home base for new or like-minded passionate production talents from all over the world who fit the Ibiza Spirit of the label, focused on the melodic sound which can be heard in party cities such as Amsterdam & Berlin. Of course established producers and/or close friends with the same music taste are more than welcome to the label.
